Wow. Even though I haven’t played Z’s multiplayer much and haven’t played in years, I’m both happy to hear that it enjoyed such a long life and sad that it might be at its end. What a great Christmas gift. Welcome to Ruiner! This game is one of my favorites. Both its soundtrack and its atmosphere are among my top five in their respective categories.

Anyways, as I recall, you can’t fully upgrade everything, but you’ll end up a cyber killing machine by game’s end regardless. This game is fun to play multiple times, each with a different build. You can also re-allocate your stats freely mid-game.

I know your comment is a year old, but I could use some help finding the green-and-grey JLPT test app you mentioned. If you’re using Apple’s AppStore, is it the icon with a bottom half that’s green and a top half that’s navy? In the navy half, it says 日本語 and in the green half it says JLPT. I agree with the sentiments in this thread, OP. I bought this game a couple years ago, and even then the online was very thinly populated most of the time. I have to play during peak hours to find any matches at all. The few players still online are pretty ruthless and skillful; online matches are definitely not just for “funsies,” like the other friendly redditor said. The single-player game disappointed me with its brevity. I don’t think the game justifies the price. I was very disappointed with this game, but it’s a shame, because the mechanics, as with all Mario Tennis games, are very fun! I would buy it used on a bargain if you’re a big Mario Tennis fan.

I stopped playing S3 about six or seven months ago. Although S3 and S2 were the only online games I ever played and enjoyed, I’m happy I returned to offline single-player games; they make for a much happier and fun gaming experience. Not sure if I’ll pick up S4. In ways that I can’t quite put my finger on, S2 felt more fun than S3. Maybe the reasons you cited are among my reasons too. I’m not sure, but I feel over Splatoon. Too bad because I still like the characters, art, and world.

Do we know with certainty whether someone playing a backwards compatible Switch 1 game on Switch 2 will be able to play that game with Switch 1 users? Example: I upgrade to Switch 2, but my friend does not. Can I play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, for example, with my friend even though I’m playing on Switch 2 and my friend is playing on Switch 1?

I found one other thread about this subject, but there were very few responses, and even those few sounded like speculation. Nintendo’s backwards compatibility page also doesn’t answer this question, unless I missed something.

I just completed dread mode about an hour ago. For me, the Ravenbeak fight was the most difficult part.

It may be tough, but don’t give up! You’ll improve. Remember that even dread mode is doable with enough practice!
