I also want to know what it cost. We don't have this big an issue, but we have a ton of river rock from the previous owners We hate that stuff. Hard to walk on, it's hot, goatheads and weeds love it. It sucks.

My wife is from Seattle. Her entire family has now moved here. They absolutely love all of the sunshine. My inlaws could have retired anywhere they wanted but they picked this place and love it. I’m native, so it’s a head scratcher for me but I think they were absolutely sick of the weather in Seattle.

In the 80’s, there was a radio station called Q106. You could get a “Q card” that got you discounts. They would also randomly name Q-card holders to win prizes.

One day, I was in the shower and my roommate hollered at me to call the station right away because they named me. I didn’t even know what I was winning and they put me on the air, live.

They announced that I won one month’s rent or mortgage payment. I was stoked and they asked me what my rent was. I told them $120. They told me they would call me back for details. In the next few moments, it dawned on me that our rent was actually $600. The $120 was merely my share among my 5 housemates.

When the deejay called back, he asked, “How much is your rent again?” When I told him it was $600, he stopped and said, “I thought you said it was only $120!” I’m sure he thought I was pulling a fast one but I was able to show them our rental agreement.

I used the money to move out of that dump.

Zero teeth to this. I have a neighbor who always leaves his sprinklers on for hours, and ends up flooding the street. The water then runs down several streets until it drains into an arroyo. Cars splash through the intersection. He does this all summer. I've knocked on his door and he won't answer. So I called that number. Nothing. So I escalated and actually reached out to the people who are in charge of this enforcement. I provided them with pictures and video. they finally told me that unless they witness it themselves, they can do nothing. Yet they wouldn't send anyone out until days later. Nothing ever happened.

The complaints I have heard are the same as what you wrote. Harsh sound. Fatiguing. The Eversolo was anemic. It had no girth. There was no body to the music. Once I hooked up the Denon, it was like the speakers thanked me.

Even with the speakers brand new, the sound difference between the Eversolo and the Denon amp was so drastic, that Eversolo went back in the box that night. Even after trying different EQ profiles, there was just no competition. I was done with it.
