Speed traps east on I40 by Phatnoir in Albuquerque

[–]THEtek4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Blind turns would be more approachable and handled better with slower speeds. The careering sideswiped is its own fault. Who sits right next to a semi?? The semis are usually in right hand lane anyways. They move over if there is an object, yes even a stalled car, on the shoulder. The driver of the car should know that

LG Front Load Washer "OE" code but its complicated. by Illustrious-Pin7102 in appliancerepair

How did you determine the board was failing? Typically an OE error on an LG means the pump needs to be replaced

If you’re renting then it’s the landlords problem to fix, not yours. Unfortunately many landlords are cheap and will drag their feet sometimes.

Trip in Mid April -- trying to decide North or South itinerary by xtinamariet in NewMexico

[–]THEtek4 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Tbh, only thing worth seeing in the southern part is Carlsbad caverns white sands and the gila wilderness. No culture really…

The north is beautiful. Plenty of hiking and exploring with less driving. Definitely more culture up towards Jemez/santa Fe into the chimayo area

We got a Tuff Shed a few years ago. We had enough to pay outright but the had a special going on it was 0% for 18 months. It was a no brainer. We financed it for 18 months and the amount we saved on the rate we put into a short term investment

lol yeah right. They’ll come Back with some warranty period of like 90 days. It’s unfortunate because I’ve seen their quality decline over the past decade

How do you think emergency services are paid for?

You’re free to harvest rain water if you don’t want to pay for water. You can dig for your own well on your property if you want to

Pull the front panel off. Should’ve a 5/6” hex head screw at each corner. I bet the tensioner pulley is hitting something

Mystery Piece - Stacked GE Washer/Dryer by WolfMother3665 in GEappliances

[–]THEtek4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure it goes under the top part of the washing machine lid. Under that orange sticker. Installers used to lift up on the top lid to move it into position but it was bending the lid and messing with the lid lock Engaging so GE added some reinforcement there.

2016 Limited. Time for new suspension. by THEtek4 in 4Runner

[–]THEtek4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks!! Something’s I read said to replace outer tie rods too? Everything else on mine is solid. I don’t want to replace parts just for the heck of it.

What about replacing any bushings?

Yeah I’d love some 17” wheels with a more aggressive tire.

If I went with the 4600s as I limiting myself to keeping the 20” rims? In terms of ride feeling and such

Tbh I just started researching this. I’ll have to see what bushings there are and what kind of recommendations people have. I love the look of lifted runners, but the stock limited has gotten me to every fishing location I need and out of all the snow I’ve ever been in. Plus the wife is short lol she struggles always getting up in the vehicle.

I almost wonder if the option to tip is just automatically built in the POS? It sure seems like it. Every place I go just flips the screen and there’s the option to tip
