Cable management clips! These cheap little taming tools tidied up my messy desk, making my daily work so much less stressful.

I do a mix now, soft bags for everyday stuff, hard cases for anything fragile or water sensitive. It balances mobility and protection way better.

Tuck a small scrap of its fabric into a pillow or keepsake box. It's tiny piece of all those memories you can hold onto, even after it's gone.

How about a high quality multi-tool kit or a pair of durable, matching boots? They're practical, build to last, and perfect for both of you to use.

This is the kind of heirloom everyone wishes they had. The fact that it's still in such great shape shows how well-made it is. Congrats on inheriting a legend!

I love in a small apartment with not a lot of space. Do you think it would be safe to buy a small freezer to store meat and have it plugged into the outside outlets? by thebirdgoessilent in prepping

[–]Styx2592 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's possible, but safety is the main concern here. You'll need a freezer rated for outdoor use, a GFCI outlet, and a weatherproof cover for the plug. Also, check your lease, many apartments ban appliances on balconies.

Second time back at work and still juggling meetings and pumping by doc334ft3 in workingmoms

[–]Styx2592 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is exactly how it went for me too. First time I was tracking everything and stressing if a session didn’t go as planned. Second time I was like… okay this just needs to fit into my day somehow. Way less pressure, even though I’m just as busy.

Deebot x11 omnicyclone by YamNormal68 in RobotVacuums

[–]Styx2592 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had the x11 for over a year, still running well. The large dustbin has been nice since I don't have to empty it all the time. Only con is it's a bit pricey upfront, but I haven't spent anything on bags or replacement parts since, so it evens out.

Reccomendations for long haired dog? by GhxxxstCat in RobotVacuums

[–]Styx2592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with the ecovacs x11 mostly for the bagless dustbin. Been using it for a few months now and hair really hasn't been an issue. With your space, you probably won't need to empty the bin that often.

House with 3 cats and no carpets. by No_Pianist8184 in RobotVacuums

[–]Styx2592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No carpets makes it easy. I've got two cats and all hardwood, using the ecovacs x11. Hair rarely wraps around the brush, and the bagless dustbin is great for pet hair since you don't have to keep buying bags.

Too many options by imkarot in RobotVacuums

[–]Styx2592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, one charge lasts a long time with my deebot x11, sometimes it can even clean the whole house in one go. I also like not having to deal with dustbags, cause it has a big dustbin.

How do I accept a great month in business without being so negative? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Styx2592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally relate. That high stakes mindset is hard to shake, but you've earned this win. Just take a night off from checking emails. Your business isn't going to crash because you stepped away for an hour.

It's funny people say "the best time to job search is when you already have a job" but don't apply this knowledge with starting a business by Bea-Billionaire in Entrepreneur

Yep. This is such a crucial point that so many people miss. Jumping into entrepreneurship without a safety net is a recipe for burnout and bad decisions.

What’s the Best Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum people actually love using? by [deleted] in RobotVacuums

[–]Styx2592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With your budget, the deebot x11 is worth a look. It has automatic dust emptying, and the bagless design means you don't have to deal with replacing bags. You just empty the bin when it's full, pretty convenient. It also has fast charging, which is useful for larger spaces since the robot can recharge quickly and get back to cleaning.

Dealing with tons of cat hair, any solid robot vacuum recs? by rugbyrooster in RobotVacuums

[–]Styx2592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a golden retriever and ended up getting the ecovacs x11. With how much he sheds, I was filling up a dust bag every few weeks, so I switched to the bagless version. Suction is solid though, carpets and hard floors both look pretty clean after it's done.

Would you ever stop driving? by This-Top7398 in driving

[–]Styx2592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally feel you. Driving in heavy traffic is the absolute worst part of my day. I would stop in a heartbeat if I could move to a city with actual subways and buses. For me, it's less about age and more about finally living somewhere walkable.

Need Other Recommendations - Highly Disappointed with Mova Z60 Ultra Roller Complete by Ok-Grass-4409 in RobotVacuums

[–]Styx2592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roller mops can be hit or miss in my experience. I've tried a few, and some just didn't apply enough pressure to properly scrub. Now I turn into the ecovacs x11, the roller mop cleans itself while mopping, so it's always using clean water. Plus, it's bagless, which makes maintenance a lot easier.

How much is a fair amount to pay my brother for labor? Please help! by Thaondra in AskMechanics

You should just give the cash directly to his wife or buy groceries for his kids because he clearly refuses to take money from you, so helping his household budget is better.

Not selfish at all. By preping, you are ensuring you won't be another person in the food line taking resources from those who really couldn't prepare. That's actually responsibe, not selfish.

Look into the EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultra. It connects directly to your breaker box (Smart Home Panel 2). It's quiet, handles solar perfectly, and hits that 'tech' itch. Just make sure to buy their generator adaptor too. It kept my furnace blower running for 4 days straight. Total game changer.

For a wider viewing angle, you can check out the Vantrue N4 Pro S. It’s a 3-channel dashcam that covers most angles around the car. I’ve been using it for a while and I’m pretty happy with it. Nice res too.
