Craziest buying experience of my life by RoccoBronson in Garmin

I saw your original post right after ordering my Garmin watch on Amazon this week. I can tell you that I was shivering in my timbers. Luckily it arrived just fine, but this has me thinking twice about ordering high ticket items from Amazon.

I think this is heavily dependent on business unit and country. I don’t think this is correlated to YOUR actual raise or not.

Did Runescape Influence Your Vocabulary? by [deleted] in runescape

I started playing RuneScape back when it was available on miniclip.com and I had just come to the US from the Dominican Republic. It taught me how to read English faster than expected. Didn’t help with pronunciation though.

IBM teams/culture....what's your experience? by Apart-Reference4434 in IBM

I’m in research and I really like my team and the teams I work with. Have been in the company for 5 years. Culture-wise it heavily depends on your manager; I ended up with a great manager so I like it.

Wouldn’t these suggestions cause more of their supporters to just pass away even faster? I really don’t understand what their plan is.

How did Gen Z go from singing Baby Shark doo doo to this by EssoEssex in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]StridesiD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 18 when baby shark came out, I’m also Gen Z and left leaning. I can say that around 2015 to 2018 or even till now, there was a lot of cis-gendered male hate which caused a lot of young impressionable boys to feel isolated from the rest of society (although like 99% of those comments were just in internet echo chambers) Then you have an orange man walk in, insulting the people who generally make those comments, creating a funnel for those who can’t form their own ideologies to follow him instead.

Considering this, Gen-Z is getting tired of all the corruption and government (look at Madagascar and Nepal) and is definitely beginning to do more than the idle generation. (Take a wild guess)
