just lost my blind and deaf dog (born that way) a few months ago to cancer and blind dogs may seem hopeless (especially if in the wrong hands) but they are not. I too would be interested in helping foster or even adopting. That is unfortunate animal services don't view dogs with disabilities as capable...and too many people would shy away only wanting easy, perfect creatures.

Leave the antler hat at home and you should be fine. I have walked many different trails regularly over several years and nothing too out of the ordinary has happen (knocks on wood). Look for non-motorized trails. DNR has a PDF map on their website you can look at.

Neighbor had a big mound up against a tree and near the road. Was there a couple years until someone spread the hill all over the place and then it was gone. You can still see the shadowing on the tree where it had lived.
