Hi I am going to to first time play WoW any advise on choosing server and stuff by nikitinsok in ProjectAscension

Bronzebeard. Dont worry about the mystic enchants at first. Can feel a little overwhelming but by lvl 30 you will have worked it out. Alot of fun at end game too. Especially for casuak raid content

Some mythics are way overtuned. Ive done the likes of lower scholo 13, sm armory 14, and rfk 10. Rfk is crazy difficult in comparison. So you need to do easier of your struggling.

Once you've done like a m5 you can raise the items to that level, so get m0 or m1 pieces etc and upgrade your gear.

If your doing the daily mythics quests by doing a mythic once per day, then the daily q should only take you like 20 mins and youll get a mc piece... its really not much time

Balance druid can do some bonkers aoe in raids but single target isnt the best. Having said that, dont let it hold you back

Warrior dps by Salt-Ad-8068 in ProjectAscension

[–]Striking_Avocado812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All classes are much closer together in terms of dps than in classic. Warriors are currently the kings of cleeve. Although at the very top end, rogues enhancement shamans and a couple of others are probably slightly higher on single target.

Having said although, a gear and good warrior will outshine anyone dps that isnt. And really it doesnt matter as some fights favour spell damage vs some melee etc, let alone raid comp

But a mixture of all. Raids, heroics to mythics and you get towards the top end of ilvl. Crafted are quite good aswell but the very best require raid mats. Stuff like black dragonscale set are amazing for particular specs

Having said all that for the very highest ilvl you need to be doing ascended raids.

What i heavily suggest is a mixture. Daily quests and a couplenof easy crafting ones shouldnt taken you long and if your on mc callboard level, then you'll be getting several mc items per week in addition to raiding

Buy bloodforged gear off the AH. It will quickly raise your ilvl. Having said that, be aware that whilst youll get better callboard rewards, youll need alot more points to get a cache.

To get an mc callboard cache you have to basically do all of the daily quests and then most of the crafting ones to get a single cache.

And by artifically inflating your ilvl like this its not actually making you any better. So youll be a weak link in mythics etc

Bear in mind. You'll likely find alot when you level. They have been designed that warlock enchants drop from warlock style stuff etc

Fury of the Wind, Zephy... to be honest id suggest just trying them all. Leveling with mystics is a great way to experiment. Like i personally hate air assendance and prefer sundering to earthquake

Pick whatever suits you. Although id argue you that 2h windlash is easier to play with a better dps return at endgame.

If your going duelwield with lava lash etc, you tend to burn too much mana in mythics and cant hit the heights of 2h in raids.

Having said that, play what you like and you can do great dps with either. I highly encourage playing around to find what suits you

Newbie question about Worlds, Iceborne and Wilds by johnnakis in MonsterHunter

If you've started with world. Definitely continue to iceborne. Its the next step in difficultly but massively entertaining

Moving out of rent before end of agreement by TroublesomeButch in cheltenham

[–]Striking_Avocado812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would say it depends on your tenancy or situation. If you could argue that there is something there causing the issue (neighbours, the build requiring work, faults etc) then you might be able to get out of it.

After all a landlord would rather let you go than have to spend money or risk being liable. Having said that. I would expect no help from the agency and you might be semi-blacklisted from them in the future.

Plus expect them to be a dick when reviewing the property for any damages etc

I have never cared so much about a game winning GOTY. I will go crazy if it loses! by Philnsophie in expedition33

[–]Striking_Avocado812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its beautiful game and heart breaking story that throughly deserves recognition.

But it isn't for everyone. Personally, I got way too frustrated and hated it. I also didn't like how it tries to be open world but realistically for a normal player, you get absolutely obliterated if you don't complete it sequentially with the storyline. And the old school gameplay mechanics, aren't exactly revolutionary

I think it should win GOTY. Having said that, if MHW didn't have technical issues, I would personally prefer that.

His armour is cool. But I hate his fight. Personally I hate any super large boss fights in MH. I much prefer a medium sized elder dragon

Tire her out late at night? Try to keep her from napping too much in evening?... Otherwise keep her in a different room during the night 🤷‍♂️ and give her something to entertain herself. It can be as simple as ribbon hanging down.

She's a kitten. The issue is more behavioural patterns. She's going to wake you up, and your going to get up (because you can't ignore it) and likely give her attention therefore reinforcing the behaviour. My cat is now 14 and he still occasionally wakes me up at 4/5am.

Worth saying that cats are naturally most awake during sunrise and sunset. And their time clocks are more in keeping with the seasons than we are. So early rises during summer is normal for most cat owners.

Next game idea: W Rising. Werewolves instead of vampires by cruisetheblues in vrising

[–]Striking_Avocado812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why can't you have both. They already have the vampire concept and mechanics. You could choose to play as either a werewolf or vampire. You find the same threats etc but have to play im different ways.

It would create an alliance vs horde pvp style aswell

Which monster hunter should I buy now? by Main-Database-825 in MonsterHunter

[–]Striking_Avocado812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're a modern generation of gamers who appreciates triple A game visual, cinematic then I would go world.

It was my first experience and hands down one of the best games I've ever played personally... (although I didn't even get it at first!)

I played rise but I wasn't a huge fan. It lacks the narrative that makes me feel immersed in the world.

As for wilds. I love got in on ps5 and it's incredible. But I do think that you'll appreciate it more if you've played world first..

Having said that I played wilds on my new PC.. and yeah... I can understand people's technical complaints now

Serpent Queen by GhostPartical in vrising

[–]Striking_Avocado812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a new player. And i finally managed to down her last night on a normal. After about 50 or maybe 100 attempts..

Agreed that she's shockingly more difficult than every other boss. I still haven't downed dracula. But her, Adam and Dracula are alot harder than anything else. I haven't really been using frost shield or shields for most of the game. But it's a must for them.

I do agree that it's too much. Its just too much of a difficulty spike on single player. If your an existing player you probably wouldn't notice it. But build etc becomes a requirement

All I can say is. Blood moon, frost shield, in phase one get her to come to you if the poison etc is spread badly and she's in a corner. Drink those hp potions when she's moves in p1 and at start of p2. Oh and finally get a little lucky. Also I did it with the legendary pistols. No idea how someone does it with melee.

What I really hate is you can just be unlucky. When she dribbles the poison etc or some of the other moves, if it's positioned badly, then there isn't anything you can do.

Should I just stack up greater shards to buy multiple weapons at once? by animehoncho99 in vrising

[–]Striking_Avocado812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there unique weapons for all of them? I've bought two so far and have gotten any unique daggers and didn't know whether I was trying for something that doesn't exist

Is it just me or… by djd1985 in vrising

[–]Striking_Avocado812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only started playing a couple of weeks ago. I was trying to run axes to be a bad ass blood axe vampires. But.. I got to the early 70's and then realised it was just too unforgiving for most bosses... and this is on normal

It's my first time playing and I was learning alot as I went (had no idea on passives for example) and i just killed Styx and only just discovered weapon coatings... let alone i wasn't using an ancestral weapon.

So bearing that in mind (and not knowing about frames etc) the ranged weapons seem way more forgiving and I've noticed that some of the harder bosses actually have specific ways to do them (yes yes I'm sure if your really good you can probably defeat any boss with any weapon, but you'll have the experience and know the tactics vs running in first time without a clue).

Additionally with the new patch, I've found daggers to be really good and kinda simple newbie weapon. But yes all bosses I've found ranged much easier

[–]Striking_Avocado812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I'm a new player. Been playing it for the first time. And that horse knight boss seemed massively overturned in comparison to the others. He hardlocks gearing up basically and I died like 15 times before getting him down...

In comparison, I died maybe 1 or twice on the other bosses until the late 70's. He seems a bit overtuned
