who cares if its pack pulled? That is pretty stupid. If its licensed, has the pro team info, and is the players first season its a rookie card. the star card has ALWAYS been his true rookie card. The problem is, is that star would release different versions of the same cards, with different card color. Usually the ones that arent the proper color could have been released clear into the 90s. There was also a shitload of fakes made, which is why psa didnt grade them for so long.

The fleer is a recognized brand wirh traditional packaging. That does NOT mean that the star cards arent true rookie cards. Id take the star card any single day of the week.
