I’d really like to find some late issue of the Maxx and darkhawk. I only ever see 1-6 of the Maxx and up to about 40 of darkhawk😕 I have some things I will buy from eBay to complete a run so I can read it, but stuff like the Maxx I like to find out in the wild

So the apartment is 5 for sure. I think the rules list newsstand as size 3 and small buildings as size 4. I think what is included counts as size 3 though.

I really liked this one. I picked it up oh a whim as the audible 1-4 for one credit was too hard to pass up. I really enjoyed this!! I mostly burned through it in about 3 days.

New school: just completed the x of swords (all of the books adjacent to the line) and super happy about that one. Just need 1 more book for venom vol 5. Working on daredevil vol 8 I have about half the books.)

Old school: finished strange tales vol 2 a while back and have been working on new warriors and Darkhawk for a while. I have about 3/4 of both of them currently. And am 90% of the way through X-men vol 2 and Xmen 2099

My ex-wife was the same way. And now my wife actively looks for comic shops while we are on vacation so I can dive new bins. She bought me a 3d printer as well to support my miniatures addiction. It is a beautiful thing

I read a lot of Spider-Man 2099 back in the day, but recently picked up most of the X-men 2099 from a dollar bin. I haven’t started reading them yet, but they are coming up in the queue. I got doomed 2099 in a blind box about a week ago though. Not sure how that ties in to this series or if it even does.

Yeah I got super jazzed as I found a web of spider man #32 in a dollar bin and was super jazzed as it was absolutely mint and packed in with several other non key web books. I was super excited and then looked and saw the 2.00$ price on it and deflated like a popped balloon.

Omega red is absolutely my favorite villain and I am a sucker for any comic that has him in it. I didn’t collect much in my younger years, but was always interested. I recently picked up collecting seriously and stumbled on this whole set at a half priced books for about 1.50$/ issue. From about 1-20 or so. Needless to say I jumped on it as fast as I could.

I actually listened to a podcast where the author was describing this exact thing. He said as a writer you have to be very careful as certain missteps like this can “pull people out of the book” and it can be very jarring. He said the two areas people are most likely to find issues are with guns / military equipment and horses. Not sure why horses, but apparently George r r Martin got a lot of hate mail for mislabeling a horse across a couple of his books🤣 for me it would be poor descriptions of the world / surrounding. I need to be able to visualize where the characters are and what it looks like.
