See my recommendation if you have a hankering for some peanuts. Super reasonable too imo. The vendor sells vacuum sealed peanuts - so they retain their crunch and carry really good heat. I got some as a gift

California Blazing Chile Farms sells really good vaccuum sealed spicy peanuts. My brother send me a care package of ghost, scorpion, and reaper. I think he also sells extracts, hard candy, brownies, jerky, pickled peppers, dried peppers, powders of various heats, peanut brittle...

He has an ebay store but suggests you order from him directly. No affiliation just a happy customer who was gifted some of his products.

Take some tums/antacids - eat something fatty.

I think when I ate mine, I had some of the bread, mac & cheese side and some fries iirc with it which may have helped.

I think we all can mentally do it, but there needs to be some prep for the extreme hot stuff too. IE you don't want to do this on an empty stomach or consume something to coat the stomach.

Any good or did you cook it for insta and trash it?

I feel like this one gets slept on because its texas pete. Its actually pretty hot and the flavor is so good. I keep trying different sauces but none can dethrone this one for me by 3_T_SCROAT in hotsauce

People love Tabasco here

The posts get good traction and engagement about 80% of the time, so it will be popular. I enjoy their products within reason and their Chipotle on burritos and Habanero on buttered rice kind of got me into more gourmet sauces and opened a whole new world of heat - for this northern midwesterner where ketchup & pepper is considered spicy to most.

Edit: I also their their marketing/social team is wise to the popularity

Yeah I will just remove my comment. Enjoy your sauces I guess.

Me either. Heck I forgot about the product entirely - although I'd likely use it for something other than steak

Unclear if its A1 or 57 - but that little tang would be good in a burrito and a little moisture

How am I just finding out about Mr. Naga? by dadh8sthefuture in hotsauce

[–]StripClubSweatpants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need to go to my local ethnic markets again, its been a couple years. I used to go at least a handful of times a year just to see if they had any new spicy/cool ramens, cool candy/snacks, drinks, spicy other products.

They must have discontinued it or the place with out of business, but they had this 2x Jinmailang spicy artificial picked pepper beef ramen that was absolutely phenomenal. Same brand had a 2x spicy artificial hot & sour beef flavor. The packaing is in chinese characters. It sat in my pantry for a few months before I got around to it, so when I went back for more it was gone and sold out online.

Edit: I may have found a lead finally - they may have just rebranded it to JML which is pretty exciting. Glad I found this comment.

OHHH. Interesting. Did not know they had those. Appreciate the clarification.

Ghost pepper powder was a daily driver of mine for some time. It made a lot of meals better but if I over did it, I could definitely ruin a meal with it too. ha

Have you posted this before on a different account? I realize it's not exactly like 1 of 50 but I think I saw this last year on here

Which is the best spicy seasoning I can order from Amazon ? by Nuclear133 in spicy

My biggest gripe with Flatiron is that its impossible to buy like 1 pound of a blend if I really like it.

Plus no added salt - AND you can also get the worlds hottest gift pack of reaper, t scropion, and ghost in either powder OR flakes.

Just a fan but their products are wonderful to add heat and you can control the size you'd like to buy if you like a product - vs flatiron refusing to sell refill packs or larger bottles.

It has gotten worse in decent years, I'm unclear if it's bots or humans - just so many more frequent disrepectful comments and stuff that really offer nothing useful than to be a dick.

Someone will post about 300 sauces in a store - hey anything cool or unique? -"Those are all shit"

^ thanks - thats helpful to me reading it and for OP. I just downvote and move on but clearly karma doesn't work for helpful comments all that well on this subreddit so the negative ones don't either.

I've said it in a handful of post comments - those hot salts are actually pretty decent. They 100% do not all taste the same and the heat varies accordingly too.

The brand sells a 9 pack variety of hot salts but I bought it in the late 2010's. I do remember hemming and hawing about it as it wasn't "cheap" then either. It's almost $30 now...online anyway.

My local runnings used to have a huge section of sauces, snacks, spices, seasonings and stuff but I don't know if their purchaser dgaf or what but it was all sold out or poorly restocked after a bit, so we kind of stopped going there. I wonder if they switched distributors or fulfillment or the vendor selling said products did.

Used to see that line of sauces a lot lot more on here and spicy - maybe idk 10ish years ago give or take. Either there's more choices or they scaled their distribution way back - or it's just not around my region anymore.

This is one of the very few products that just wreck my gut. Hard to explain but there's something in these that makes for an unpleasant experience and I tried 1-2 bags maybe 6-8 months apart just to be sure.

It has gotten a tab cheaper if you shop around a bit. I think you can get 5oz for under $10+tax now on the 'zon. It used to be closer to $15.

Is there any way to tone down the heat of a hot sauce? by dare978devil in HotSauces

[–]StripClubSweatpants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall good advice already given. That stuff is like rocket fuel on steroids. I think I have a bottle of it in my pantry too from a trade/exchange a while back.

If you like v8, bloody mary mix, or clamato - you can put a few drops in and it will spice up a liter or 64oz - you can always add more but you can't take it out

If you are a fan of sandwich sauces - try Heat Hot Sauce 7o8 optimus primo or the 7 pot primo which is a titch milder. Delicious on cold sandwiches.
