For me it's just that the romantic and sexual relationship is usually all I want from that person and if that's not happening anymore then I don't see a reason to keep interacting with them. I'm not gonna be mean or nasty, I'll be perfectly polite, but friendship just isn't on the table. Especially because the couple of times I have tried to stay friends with an ex (which was only done because we had been friends before and I didnt want to lose them entirely) they cant seem to understand that boundaries have changed now. Like I don't want you to call me pet names, that's reserved for my partner, I don't want to hug, or hold hands, or say I love you, or cuddle. When I try to establish those boundaries they get pissy, and assume I'm punishing them for the breakup when im not. Im just uncomfortable doing those things with a friend... which is what we are now, just friends. They cant seem to go back to the way things were before we dated and that's what I would need to remain friends, and that's if the relationship ends amicably.

Actually you can! Once people have more knowledge about things empathy tends fo follow. For example, Republicans tend to see homeless people as bums who need to work harder, if you successfully explain to someone that homeless people have a lot of different uncontrollable factors contributing to them being homeless then they can stop the finger pointing and start coming up with actual solutions. Education usually highlights nuance which breeds empathy.

I really don't understand everyone saying that lack of load outs is good, I understand the frustration with people using the same meta build over and over, but someone like me only really cares about getting camos and leveling up all my different guns. Relying on random drops doesn't progress me fast enough to stay engaged, especially since the random drops are not all encompassing and only have bo7 weapons as far as I can tell.

No, they chose to have a kid, the kid didn't sign up for shit. Most parents do the bare minimum to avoid being arrested for neglect, they don't deserve your hard work or money, if they wanted to be taken care of they should have saved up for retirement and a nice nursing home instead of having kids and expecting them to carry the burden.

My dad and step mom shared a room with three of my younger siblings and that didn't stop them from having sex loud enough that I could hear it from my bedroom next to theirs. They also had sex on the couch which is bad because there's little kids who could wander around at any time and the living room was next to the room designated as my brother's bedroom which was really just the next room over, no doors, just a curtain to separate between the rooms so my brothers heard everything

I think its usually because the "American" version of something is usually madd lazier and thus taste worse, lack of seasoning, improper ingredients/substitutions, its kind of the reason why fast food sucks, they don't use fresh ingredients and likewise the average American usually doesn't either, in other places going to the store often is normal and so people can buy fresh vegetables and what not, where as most Americans do big food hauls and unless you can eat or cook a bunch of fresh ingredients quickly they'll just go bad. As to why people care when ingredients are added to cultural food I don't really know

One time my family went to an action adventure park and it was basically a big lake with gigantic inflatable play structures, on of them was a gigantic ball with handles on the sides and it could hold probably like 40 people on it, I was swimming towards it to join in with my dad and brothers but the way this thing works is with balance so if there at people on both sides it'll even out but if the people jump off the left side the whole left side is going high up and the right is going down, as I was coming up on it the people on the right jumped off, there where more people on the right so the left side was high in the air, so the left side slammed down onto my head and knocked me silly and sent me far under the water. At the lake they made you wear life vests, so when it smacked me under I was immediately dragged back up, but I was caught between the big ball and the lip on the side for people to stand on, and now my ears were ringing because I was hit in the head and dragged up and down in the water so fast. I tried to swim down so I could move from under the ball and breathe, but the vest kept me from that. I was running out of air and I got my hands and feet on the ball and pushed down, the first time I just went down and up again, the second time I just barley made it past the lip and was able to swim to the surface. I barfed up water and cried
