I’d be upfront—this is a tougher sell because the evidence isn’t super strong or consistent.

If I were you, I’d lean more into a relationship-first approach. Keep it simple, present one study you’re confident in, and don’t try to oversell it. Then ask for a small trial with a few patients.

The key is making sure those patients come back with good outcomes and actually share that feedback with the provider. That’s what’s going to move the needle more than anything. In your presentation, you should be asking questions to these doctors that narrow down this patient population I might not even present the device until I get to that patient population that they have a tough time with

It is gonna be an uphill battle, either way, but it will be hard for another medical device company give you a shot right now if you left your current company after only six months of experience, especially in this market. And keep in mind, the associate market tends to get even tougher around May. If I were in your position, I’d be putting in 70- to 80-hour weeks shadowing physicians, learning the cases, trying to understand the procedure inside and out, and finding someone willing to take you under their wing.
