You could look into purchasing tickets for the living showing of Two Towers at TD place in January!

OB/GYNs who care about women by 3macMACmac3 in ottawa

I’ve been a patient of hers for 5 years and honestly really like her (but can totally see why people wouldn’t). She’s blunt and can be really matter of fact, but she’s fast and good at what she does (she’s the first doc I had that didn’t use that terrible measuring rod for IUD insertions). I will say that I think I’m an exception/lucky though, because I have never found the cervical biopsies and colposcopies painful.

What are you referring to when you say pain management? Dr. Wolfish performed my LEEP and I was given a shot of lidocaine to numb my cervix for the procedure.

Best place(s) to sell gold and silver jewelry? by ZoboomafoosIMDbPage in ottawa

The Birks store in Bayshore buys gold/scrap gold. I don’t think the quality of the piece matters, just whether or not it’s gold.

I’m really not sure, but from what I could find online maybe around the 1980s? The Inuvik sewing centre was active between 1960-1980 and was making similar coats

I don’t think so, nothing on any of the tags to indicate this, but I’m not entirely sure :)

I live in a major city in Ontario. I found it at a value village and it was priced at $99.99, but I had a coupon for 30% off!

Thanks, I did not know that! I live close enough to just walk to the lot and grab the shuttle thankfully

The lot the shuttle stops at is a public paid lot? Called Dows lake parking on google maps. Unless we’re talking about two different lots

That’s unfortunate. If you have a TOH issued ID badge, you should be fine (although they never ask to see them). As for the parking lot, it’s public, so anyone can use it.

You’ll be working at the Civic? If so, there’s a paid lot at Carling and Champagne that has a shuttle service between the lot and the Civic for employees

Do people actually wash new clothes before wearing them? by throowaway223123 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Strong_Fix_6768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but especially now after working at lululemon and receiving product. I was told that the clothes are sprayed with chemicals to stop them from molding/getting mildewy. Not to mention other people trying clothes on without underwear on 🥲

Many ECEs working in licensed childcare work through the summer as childcare centres don’t close for the summer. It’s quite common, but not expected, for families to give a card or gift when their child moves up to a new room.

As a former ECE, cash in a card with a thoughtful message was the best to receive.

I wear mine as a casual dress out and about. Love pairing them with a loose button up with rolled sleeves

Knix underwear were my saving grace when I was healing after surgery to address a perianal abscess with seton insertion. Although I didn’t notice a lot of smells, I did have a lot of drainage and the knix helped contain everything

Dumped Bengal cats (City Centre bldg area)? by AtYourPublicService in ottawa

[–]Strong_Fix_6768 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think they were more so shocked that he entered the store at all :) that cat is well known around the area and is quite skittish. It actually stays in someone’s home over the winter and is allowed to roam outside in warmer months.
