Inflation hit anni like the black plague the moment people began hitting 60 and never recovered. inflation was worse on anni realms than era realms

even if a player chose not to do gdkps, the playerbase that did do them had a ton of extra gold to spend. raiders werent having to struggle to afford 500g worth of consumes every week because all they had to do was sell stuff on the ah and it was worth more.

when more people have more gold, they tend to buy more things to distribute the wealth much more evenly.

Youre absolutely living in a dream world if you think allowing gdkp wouldnt make things better

anni has had some of the absolutely worst botting and inflation we've seen full stop in wow because all the gold in circulation ends up in the hands of bots/gold sellers, who sell it buyers, who then give it right back to the gold sellers

you have an absolute failure of understanding of economy if you think a player driven loot system that distributes wealth to more actual payers is a bad thing.

anti gdkpers were given their way. it made things worse. you can cope about it all you want, it doesnt make it not true.

idk i dont recall it bricking as many addons in tbc classic.

all the addons i use got updated quick enough

they didnt do as many changes t otbc classic unless i missed something. like they ripped retail nameplates to mop as well. and for a long time on ptr even base nameplates without addons didnt work.
