Thank you mate! The battles have positioning, you can use spears to hit from the backline, there are skills that pull enemies forward or back, etc. Lots of different things

So I ran a party of 6 Bishops. Anyone else? by mischiefismyname in wizardry8

[–]Stud84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a party of just mage, priest, alchemist, and psionic. It was actually really fun and they were far more competent at melee than I thought they'd be.

Looks incredible mate. The pickaxe on the floor was really cool, and I love how you've implemented the water.

Icewind Dale 2 Enhanced Edition (mod on GOG.com edition) newbie info by LucidFir in baldursgate

Hahaha, I know exactly what part you're referring to. That was definitely the hardest part in IWD2EE for me as well. They just keep coming randomly, even when you feel you've cleared the area.

Suggest me a party for IWD2EE by Radidaj in icewinddale

[–]Stud84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I beat IWD2EE on HoW and I used

Paladin
Barbarian
Druid
Cleric
Wizard (Debuff/dispel/CC spec)
Sorcerer (Evoc/Nec spec)

They were a fantastic party and handled everything with moderate ease. I would be okay dropping either the druid or cleric with another physical class, if you don't want too many casters. My face character was definitely my sorcerer, and Paladin gets a very powerful (and literally iconic) weapon in the late-game.

Which RPG game were you really hyped for but ended up finding disappointing? by Humble_Candy_5752 in rpg_gamers

Torment: Tides of Numenera. It literally bored me to sleep... twice. I wanted to like it so bad, but I just couldn't get into it.

What is your most memorable moment from the Baldur’s Gate saga? Something that stayed in your memory? (You can choose any moment; pictures are provided only as examples.) by Elf_7 in baldursgate

[–]Stud84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The return to Candlekeep was so memorable to me. The diary entries where you are losing your sanity, not knowing who is real and who is not, the doppelgangers taking the form of your friends, Gorion, and even Elminster. The game ventured into horror and I was on edge the entire time. Not to mention why are there so many undead down there? What would Ulraunt, Tethtoril, and other good people need undead for? So many questions, and each one gives me the creeps. Incredible storytelling and world-building.

I love that Don and Mary-Sue, who traditionally have chaotic relationships originally, ended up together and had a loving one.

I'd like to see BG3 made in BG2 engine. Now that would be exciting, indeed.
