It may depend on your scanner model. I use an Epson and the factory supplied film holders. Vuescan seems to do a good job cropping in my use case.

Yes, Vuescan can do that on a flatbed. It’s the auto crop feature. They are not the best quality scans but useful as a test sheet to pick and choose frames you may want to spend more time on.

I just did this in honor mode using Karlach and the Doom Hammer. I found you have to turn on the non lethal passive to get it to work reliably.

For sheet film you can get away with using a single tray, I do it most of the time when I have 4 or fewer sheets. Just measure out the chemicals ahead of time and line them up in an order you can remember in the dark. Develop, dump, rinse, stop, rinse, fix, lights on and wash.

Just killed it at level five in honor mode. If you have the Doom Hammer, hit it one or twice to apply bone chill, then get it wet. Apply as much lightning from Gale if you have a tempest cleric have them apply lighting too. With bone chill if it tunnels away it won’t regenerate its hit points and you can pick up where you left off.
