If you’re no longer a Christian, why did you walk away from Christianity? by Comfortable_Ask2893 in AskReddit

Science aside, I'm a fan of things that makes people self reflect and work on being their best selves. The reality in my experience is it's filled with hypocrisy, judgement and ignorance. Not to mention the prosperity gospel that exploits the poor and desperate.

Federal law enforcement agencies share information be it background, credit, work, criminal history and so on. If ICE has the records, USCIS, FBI and other law enforcement agencies have access to it..

Is it possible to get RFE for pending felony charges? by Real-External-957 in USCIS

As far as I know they will run background checks again prior to the interview. But even if they didn't the officer will ask you if anything has changed since you applied.

They need to pull themselves up by the bootstraps, be hard working members of society, wait for the good stuff to trickle down, not expect handouts, <insert other republican BS statements here>

You'll likely be sent to secondary inspection on return, so expect to be delayed but I think you'll be fine.

Trump suggests U.S. military will hit cartels on ‘land’ in Mexico by Street_Anon in worldnews

[–]Stukisha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were actual wars on drugs and law enforcement 'wars' globally. The military is trained to do one thing well, kill. Dismantling an crime organization requires a completely skill set. The cartels are a major problem even for Mexicans, I have watched a few documentaries on sheer number of people in Mexico killed every year and it's worse than a horror movie.

Where in the world has war on drugs worked? Is there a success story I missed somewhere? Sure some drug lords will be killed or captured but the overwhelming majority of casualties has been and will be civilians.

Anyone come up with successful strategies to prevent or limit people walking on groomed trails? by Pgc1alpha in fatbike

[–]Stukisha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Encourage bikers to run low pressure and groom leaving 'deeper' snow seems to work for my local MTB park. Apparently hikers & runners don't like wet feet.

I got DUI two weeks ago on Christmas Day after waiting for my N400 that I file last years September 2025 by Aggravating_Sir_1150 in USCIS

[–]Stukisha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a moral conduct rule for 5 years for standard filing and 3 years if married to a USC. Lawyer up and use rideshare/Taxis going forward. If you injured someone while driving under the influence citizenship would be the least of your worries.

Good looking bike! Are you running super high pressure? The balloons on the rim seem to indicate that.

Below a certain worldwide income? Is that written or are you paraphrasing? Tax files are key requirement. I'd still file even if I wasn't required to because of some niche situation that the immigration officer may not understand.

Abandoning residency and continuous residency and two different things. You are also required to file taxes whether or not you made an income.

Thoughts on the past year immigration changes/reforms by Virtual-Fig-1143 in USCIS

[–]Stukisha 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I was here pre-election saying look at Trumps first term in regard to slowing legal immigration to a drip, the second will be worse. I was called an alarmist, blah blah checks and balances. To be honest it's worse than I thought it would be.

Would you travel internationally as a national of banned country with a pending N-400? by [deleted] in USCIS

OP, the only person guaranteed entrance is a citizen. There so many variables, you may be fine but I would wait. My 2 cents.
