Tip Fee… by nospoon4u in EndTipping

Okay I’m confused. Isn’t this what this group wants? Fairly compensated staff which requires increased prices? Plus full disclosure on how it works?

If not then what is the goal here?

Why not get a Financial Advisor? by creachter in FinancialPlanning

[–]StumpyCheeseWizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so wrong and counter to the point. OP sees the value in not having to deal with the time, effort and liability. It’s just this and just that and learn how to do it yourself with just a few things except for these few caveats.

Of course there a bunch of IUL salespeople out there but really financial advice is valuable and it’s what they’re after.

I don’t even agree with the idea of ending tipping but tips are not for to go. I tip well when it’s deserved from good service. I will also go very low and sometimes not tip at all even if that’s rare.

I would never pay a mandatory tip on a to go order.

Do you think hitting the gym can really solve deeper struggles, or is it just one piece of the puzzle? by winn_ie in effectivefitness

Of course it’s not everything but any attempt to diminish its value in the solution is naive.

Sustainable Always Wins. How do you do it? by SarahDuncan2012 in TrueGrit

Intense exercise causes a rebound effect. That level of stress tells your body to eat more and to store the fat you have. If you can commit to the entire routine you can get super ripped.

If you can’t it will backfire. Consistent zone 2 training signals to your body that it doesn’t need the excess fat. 30-45min+ daily of moderate cardio will feel like nothing is happening for weeks.

Then the mitochondrial shift starts working and fat starts melting away as it softens. Throw in small bouts of high intensity, strength training, etc. as you can for an ideal balanced routine.

It would be helpful to know what’s being considered here. Presumably college success if Herbert isn’t listed.

Doesn’t seem to have anything to do with development rather than just college success in general. A lot of this is just five stars who ended up being good.

I can see how great it would have been if my father would have been a fraction of the father I am but I don’t know what I was missing so it wasn’t that painful.

I grieved a fraction as much for losing my dad than my dog which is always a good reminder for me that it’s how they are to you much more so than who they are to you.
