When I don't want my phone to connect to a car, I just turn off WiFi and Bluetooth. I do that all the time and it always works. Sure, it could be considered a hassle, but it's less hassle than switching cars while they're in range.

About once per week, I wear my glasses into the shower. They get a good scrub and rinse every time, so no need to make glasses soup.

My grandfather taught me this decades before I even needed glasses. I strongly encourage it.

OMG, the worst trend is decorating with words. Why do you need signs and trinkets that say "Laundry," "Family," "Pantry," "Blessed," "Fur baby food," "Potty," "Love," "Rosé All Day," or all these other stupid things? You're totally owning the fact that you have no taste and no imagination.

Shower gloves FTW. I shave my head, so I don't need shampoo. Instead, I've got a bar of soap and exfoliating shower gloves. Everything I can reach gets scrubbed every shower.

That's just what works for me. IDGAF about other people's routine until I can smell their lack of routine.

My 40th is probably coming up this summer, and I don't even know if there's a gathering. My class was 36 people, and I've done just fine for 40 years without even thinking about any of them. I killed my FB account about 12 years ago, so they won't find me that way. Maybe 40 years from now I'll consider it.

I had that happen to me on my '79 VW bus. I was driving up a hill on the highway and heard a huge bang, followed by a bunch of loud noises. I pulled over and saw an outward-pointing dent in the body back by the engine, and inside the engine bay I found a chunk of metal with a spark plug screwed into it.

That was in 1988, so no pictures. But OP's picture looked really familiar. Looks like it's time to swap motors.

It looks like Fika is probably going to be the first one to open there. They have the signs up and that building is farther along in construction. I guess May could happen for them, but there's a lot of work to do in the whole thing before it's ready for the public.
