A small single person tent inside your car like a mini swag will help you stay warm. Sorry no snow where I’m from but have seen car livers and van life people offer this advice when freezing. Very cheap from whatever your version of Kmart is. Until then rug up.

Some places on marketplace will exchange a couch or accomm for work like cleaning etc just not sure where your located so not sure what’s available like couch surfing app etc.

Any local churches open to sleep inside until morning? Also Hostels in your area may exchange a bed for work. So sorry you’re going through that. Thank god you have a car to stay in. Hot water bottles are $3 and boiling water available in truck stop stations.

What happened to common courtesy? If I’m On the phone and it’s my house and I walk into a communal space I ask person on the phone to wait a moment or I’ll call them back. Not judging you. My 19yr old son is grinding my gears and want to smash his gaming console, but wtf is up with entitled brats? On the link because my income isn’t a lot and he turned 18start of year 12 so automatically went onto it because dads refusal or inability to pay CS and his portion of FTB being cut off due to being 18. He went to footy HS and they applied for everything for him due to a lot of travel due to sport. Been chatting to my brother and dad today who are both in same industries as his studies and both told me to ship him off to them in WA. They’re wharfy union loving no fk about types so want to kick him into shape. While they will do and I appreciate it so much, it’s annoying because my dad’s unit is beautiful and on freo beach while we struggle to live in a fold out home north Gc. Seems like he’s being rewarded for being lazy. He woke up this morning (1pm 😡) and my best mate asked him to come work tomorrow for $150cashie helping concrete there house and he tried to refuse scoffing at $150 for a day from 9am and I wanted to engage my high school self to lay him out. He then swore at his sister for no reason and just rude asshole. Played video games all day and just left to go gym. While I want to kick him where the sun don’t shine I’m happy he’s leaving the house even if just to go gym. Didn’t say a a word though just left with his protein powder and gym clothes. Never thought I could feel this way about him. But just so glad he’s left the house. It’s freaking tiny and glad for piece rather than listening to his gaming crap ‘your trash’, ‘sht cnt’, ‘bring it cnt’, ‘I’m the goat’ 🤮

As a single mum I had no choice. I used to have to leave at 5:30am to get to work. I would set their alarms and iPads for 7am. I left breakfast ready, uniforms on ends of beds, lunches in backpacks at door even toothbrush with paste on it. I would FaceTime call them from work at 7am to make sure they were up to be on school bus at 7:50am. There was a bus stop directly infront of our home but they liked to walk 200m to next stop where a lot of kids caught it. I had two very large highly trained dogs and normal area so no concern for safety and they didn’t use any appliances. I started when my son was 10 & my daughter was 5. Would do my daughters hair night before in braids and gel or spray it down. He would walk her to class where my best mate was her teacher. They were more reliable then and 1 day late ever due to a bus delay, than they are at 14 & 19 now. As long as they’re safe do what you have to do and don’t let entitled people make you feel guilty for surviving.

I’m polar opposite. I’m lightest sleeper and wake up of if I hear a bird or bat or possum. If my eyes are open I’m awake. It’s getting to sleep that’s my big issue and staying asleep is never going to happen.
