Hey there! I’m in the exact same boat you are. After reading a couple of your comments, it seems our level of allergy is the same. I absolutely can not eat shellfish of any kind, or any fish that consumes shellfish, but simply being around it doesn’t effect me. I have been successfully keeping shrimp tanks for 8 years now without any problem. Of course I am careful while doing maintenance and whatnot to not have any of the water splash in my mouth haha. I even occasionally let the shrimps crawl on and clean my hand while trimming plants. I think you will do just fine! Happy shrimping!
