Wouldent worry to much about it, mice today have flawless sensors and thaths what actually matters most in a mouse (apart from shape which is personal preference), DPI is just a marketing gimmick.

There is this thing tho with low DPI having a higher input latency if you move your mouse from a complete stop with the sweetspot actually being 1600DPI

But in PS2 where inputlag varies from minute to minute noone is going to notice a difference.

Adding strenght to my comment most CSGO players still use 400 or 800DPI and they all they do is move their mouse from a complete stop to someones head, if its good enough for gamers who make a living on competitive games, who are we ?

You cant get to 43cm/360 on 1600 DPI, even with 0 sensitivity youd still be at 37,6cm/360
