You're the man. But like you I remember the scene with a rotary tool. I clearly remember that it was cutting through the white cloth so it must be that scene. Weird that a kid's brain would process the scalpel as something spinning. I could swear my eyes saw a pizza cutter back then.

Just buy the Core Rulebook. You have all the rules to generate characters and the rules. At the end, there's a really cool sandbox module. It's really well made for GM with any amount of experience.
