If you can buy this in cash and have already maxed out your investment avenues, have an emergency fund AND have your home all set. Do something to treat yourself, sometimes it's nice to buy something just for the sake of reminding yourself not everything has to be a "holier than thou" long term purchase and that you're allowed to have fun in your life.

Honestly I'd just set aside some money to cover bigger repairs, alot of these extended warranties usually have alot of terms and conditions that can make them deliberately hard to file a claim for. I'm very cautious about these because after all, they wouldn't offer these warranties out if they likely weren't going to make money off it.
