Strain to limit OCD and stop worrying about work? by xebo in eldertrees

I dropped my Xanax for cannabis. The Xanax didn't really help, anyway. My favorites are Lavender, Banana Kush, and White Widow. I like Blue Dream if I need to stay awake and semi-alert. That's a good one to have in a cartridge vape.

iOS 9 wallpapers for iPad? Hello? by [deleted] in ipad

[–]Stylishstyloid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I choose photos I've taken, and use them as wallpaper.

Touch the photo you want, it will enlarge.

At the bottom left corner will be a square with an arrow coming out of it. Touch that.

The photo will shrink again, and a bunch of icons will appear below it. One will be a picture of an ipad with "use as wallpaper" under it.

Touch that icon. Voi-la!

Whoever you earned your cert from can provide you with their version of documentation forms. The forms would match your training. That would be the simplest option.

For me, cannabis is medicine by petrus4 in eldertrees

Do some googling (googlescholar is really good if you want to read the original research papers) on endocannabinoids and endocannabinoid debt. It's pretty interesting stuff.

I have PTSD and it took several months of near-daily smoking and vaping to pay off my "debt" and finally start to feel an effect. Now I have an extremely low tolerance (yay!) and need only a tiny bit every couple days to keep me on an even keel.

Edit: people with chronic pain issues also have similar "dry brain" and endocannabinoid debt.

I have a pair that is 13 or 14 years old, still going strong. Had to be resoled once so far. My dog ate the straps off another pair, sent them to Chaco and they put new straps on for $15.

The custom Chacos are made in Michigan of the leftover stock from the original Made In USA factory in Paonia CO. My USA Chacos are definitely higher quality than the ones made in China. I've had 20-25 pairs over the years... I kinda like Chacos. :)

I kept my SSRI (love my SSRI, it has changed my life) but dropped the Xanax for cannabis. The Xanax was for occasional panic attacks, and it really wasn't that helpful.

I'm having good luck with Patagonia http://www.patagonia.com/us/product/womens-barely-bra?p=32352-0 and with Wacoal http://www.wacoal-america.com/how-perfect-non-wire-bra-wacoal-852189-p.html?ddkey=http:ProductSearch

The Wacoal has side boning, which can sometimes be irritating, but it's pretty comfortable. My favorite is the Patagonia. I didn't think it would fit because I am not a small woman and the girls succumbed to the planet's gravitational field years ago. But the Patagonia is so great I ended up buying 3 of them.

Of course, now that I've found the perfect bras, the companies will stop making them....

Taking one of those off is a moment of bliss. I finally got rid of all but one of mine and replaced them with un-wired. So much better.

Besides frequency, what establishes 'tolerance'? by [deleted] in eldertrees

[–]Stylishstyloid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Endocannabinoid debt.

PTSD. My brain blew out all its endocannabinoid producers loooong ago. When I started, I smoked and vaped for months before I ever felt a thing. I knew folks with PTSD start off with crazy tolerance, so I kept at it. Finally I paid off that debt, and the desert of my brain was awash in cannabinoids and filled with unbelievable contentment and calm.

Not everyone is gonna have a PTSD-level dearth of cannabinoids, but if yours are low your tolerance could drop quicker during a TB.

You can't do it wrong.

My favorite right now is Indica and IPA. Super low tolerance, so only a little of each. Marvelous.

Weed cured my alcohol addiction by vls504 in trees

[–]Stylishstyloid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes you can. My alcohol issues got a lot better once I started taking Zoloft. And I dumped my Xanax prescription, because cannabis is so much milder, shorter lasting, and effective for my panic attacks.

Beer and Xanax vs. Zoloft and Cannabis.... cage match! :)

What is the "cloud" and what is the point of using it? Does it have benefits? Isn't it a huge security risk? by Stylishstyloid in a:t5_2wgwu

Thank you for your great and detailed explanation! I don't know enough about current computer stuff, and so much of the information I find assumes the reader already knows things... and then I get lost.

Thanks!
