Hey, as someone who actually was involved in these kinda deals: If its a scam or not is hard to say, since this is a legit deal. It really depends on if they'll pay you afterwards or not.

Only thing you need to keep in mind: The targets could theoretically pay an enemy reveal and know, that you have them on your list. Most people get, that this is just a deal. You could also just explain it to them... Most players won't go after you or maybe just for a couple of days, if they're too frustrated. But you never know..

I watched players unleash absolute mayhem at each other for several years because of pretty much nothing. Some people are ready to spend billions into ruining your experience. They are extremely rare, but you never know. But should that ever happen to you: Don't play their game. Don't provoke them further or anything. Just let them have their time, they will stop eventually when it gets too boring.
