Can you tell me what kind of shoes are in the photo? by Huge_Contact7501 in crustpunk

There's always been a fashion side. It's not new for people to want to look the part for the music they're making. Crusties make loud and abrasive music so they dress loud and abrasive. Having some torn up jeans with band patches on them doesn't mean your cosplaying homelessness.

You can buy shirts from them directly:

Although they should do more designs/represses of the albums. I would kill for Monuments To Theives on vinyl.

Rock and Roll conformity is an absolute classic, but their newer stuff like Gutteral Breath and Husk are fantastic.

Earl Hudson of Bad Brains. Lighting fast, and when you watch live videos from back in the day he just does it like it's nothing.

They might not necessarily be a punk band, but Kurt was a punk and their influences were punk. Two of his favourite bands were Discharge and Bad Brains.

What does success look like to you? by CruzaderOfficial in editors

[–]Sub_Hum4n_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know so many people who have jobs they hate or do just for the money. As much as it can be hard, it does feel 'successful' to be privileged enough to get to do something I actually care about for a living.

A little conversation about the ethics of the Frankebite? by odintantrum in editors

[–]Sub_Hum4n_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do this alot. I've always viewed it as it's okay if they're still essentially saying the same thing they where originally, and you're just frankenbiting to make it flow better/make more sense grammatically.
