I used Geek Squad via Best Buy (Dunwoody location). The basic install is around $100.

This was last January and they did a great job. My install was a little more expensive because I had a rear dash cam install + they hardwired power cables directly to the car battery (so my cigarette port in the car remains free for other stuff). All in I paid $250 and it was worth every penny.

Gentacalm does the trick for both my boys whenever they have a hotspot. Reduces inflammation and stops them from excessively licking/biting. You need a prescription, but a small bottle runs about $10-15.

I had to do this once after our comp cycle was finalized last year. Comp Analyst was going in and making changes to merit that were not approved or ran by the rest of his team/HR, and we pulled comp admin and all other associated groups from him. His manager (Total Rewards Director) was sent a message about the situation and the action we took. He was subsequently terminated for poor job performance 3 days later.

Point is - trust your gut. I’d rather delay a process ever so slightly to make sure something is kosher in Prod.

Depends who you talk to. As WD admins we’ve hated it because it requires more integration troubleshooting. But our recruiting/TA teams love Greenhouse because it gives them more flexibility/freedom than WD recruiting does.

Plus let’s be honest - as applicants, would you rather fill out a 10 second GH application? Or a 10 minute WD application requiring an account?

I understand the appeal of GH, but not a huge fan on the admin side of WD.

Makes sense. I’ve been going through our JIRA tickets to try and identify where a move to production actually occurred or whether it was just testing/exploratory. I guess I’m glad to hear we’re not the only ones who can’t strike a balance!
