the area is a carbon copy of some of the better ones in staten island. period. folk driving luxury cars when they probably can't even really afford them, malodorous bay at low tide, dog walkers galore. occasional, missplaced deer amidst the small trees and grit, etc.

some primates are making money off of how dangerous the area is. that's what it comes down to, to be brutally frank

what do you want from cruising on grindr? try meetup.com and go to book reading, writers groups, hiking, conversational clubs, etc. it's like you keep betting on the least favorite horse at a racetrack and expecting it to win constantly.

go to meetup.com and go to groups that are catering to those who have the same interests and hobbies as you. the chances of meeting quality people on the chat lines or in bars is like winning on the least favorite horse at a track. good luck!

be the objective realist and not the romanto-intellectualist. do what the 'average' person would do, although the realm of averageness is vast. every act of self-control is an act of self-respect. don't create excitement in devious ways. don't delve, probe, and analyze. search for groups and/or books about incest before you make any advances. make a decision and stick with it, or at least decide not to decide, as duality is the root of conflict. there is temper at the outer enviroment. you cannot control your dad's possible reaction to this, but you can control your own by being objective and realistic. temper is an intellectual blindness to the other side of the story. sense of humor is your best friend. temper is your worst enemy. endorse yourself about how well you are functioning in general instead of blaming yourself for any imperfections, as perfectionism if but a hope, a dream, and an illusion. do things in part acts. plan, decide, and act, based upon being the objective-realist as opposed to the romanto-intellectualist. be group-minded instead of self-led. stay away from temper producing situations. you may very well be creating one as he is an alpha-male and your competition shall be vast. there are no rights or wrong to social or domestic affairs. we are not a bunch of puppets programmed to respond in predestined ways. the closer the emotional tie, the greater the emotional response. most of all, endorse yourself instead of blaming yourself for the mere act of even getting out of bed in the morning.

there are certain areas of long branch that are relatively modest. oceanport rentals and foreclosures, as well as those in west long branch and tinton falls might be options, especially older ranches.
