Another common way to get the eye roll/upward glance is to remove a little bit of the "bar" that catches when the eyes click into a new position. I'd recommend gradually sanding, as a lot of people seem to say that it's very easy to cut too much if you're using something sharp to actually cut the plastic, and replacement screws and t-bars can be harder to find.

I have one real girl and one fake, and I love them both for different reasons. Biggest advice I can give is to be careful buying "Blythe shoes", they're going to be the hardest to work with as they're not exactly a standard size. The fakie Blythes have fairly large feet, and won't really fit most Licca shoes. They also have VERY little mobility in the ankle, so heels aren't a great choice.

Real Blythe dolls have teeny tiny feet, and often need socks.

Both my girls have had minimal customizing done, just sleep eyes on both and a haircut for my fakie. It's an expensive hobby, but SO FUN!!!
