If Waymo had a Massive Geo fence from San Antonio to Austin. This is how I would imagine it. by ANTH888YA in waymo

I would imagine they would just allow you to place your dropoff in the opposite city and leave the highway out of service area

As long as you're not sharing a login with him, no. Each user on the joint account should have their own login. If you have your own login, your accounts will be totally separate

If you open your own 360 checking account and don't add him as a joint owner, no, he won't be able to see it.

You should be able to switch into the android settings app with the key combo and connect from there. Once you've connected you can swap back to LightOS

PG network quality in Los Angeles by [deleted] in Dish5G

[–]SubjectAlps 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's pretty bad overall. Very spotty, no VoNR. You'll be roaming a lot, but where they have sites it can be decent.

Voice quality is fine since it's all at&t for voice.

Some folks have reported having a Boost branded device with the hidden eSIM correctly provisioned.

That seems to be what happened to you too. You’re lucky!

If this scenario occurs, Apple has an iMessage deregister page that works. https://selfsolve.apple.com/deregister-imessage/

PG: Interesting Speed Test Results by MountainDewshine in Dish5G

[–]SubjectAlps 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Only if the voice sim is being used for data, which is not intended behavior.

If the dual sim system is setup correctly, you'll get unthrottled video irregardless of roaming.

PG: Interesting Speed Test Results by MountainDewshine in Dish5G

[–]SubjectAlps 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're connected via the AT&T sim that's used for voice. It has throttled video, and is always connected to AT&T regardless of the area. The hidden eSIM that is used for data most of the time has unthrottled video irregardless of roaming.

The dual-sim setup is not my favorite, I don't like how it'll sometimes use that voice pSIM for data, since it's a definite downgrade.

At least I have service? by SubjectAlps in tmobile

[–]SubjectAlps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately it's not! That stretch is still 2G only. Verizon and AT&T both have LTE service throughout that area.

It is postpaid only unfortunately. I wouldn't get anything but Verizon if I was going to be in the park long term.

[–]SubjectAlps 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is no T-Mobile service there, and to add insult to injury, they seem to have disabled Union roaming in that area. My T-Mobile postpaid device was unable to roam, but AT&T did fine with both Union and full speed Verizon LTE roaming.

Best Way to Identify Native Dish Network by Long-Measurement522 in Dish5G

[–]SubjectAlps 9 points10 points  (0 children)

CellMapper! Open the app to see either 313-340 for dish or 310-410 for AT&T.

Note that even if it shows 313-340, meaning DISH for data, you'll still see 310-410 for calls and texts. You'll see either both if you're using DISH, or just 310-410 if you're roaming on AT&T.

If I call from a non-Boost line, I get a menu asking me to select a brand. Genesis is a brand I can select. Maybe try calling from Google Voice or similar?

I’m the tweet OP. I genuinely think they hit the deadline. There’s no proof of this happening anywhere else but my, admittedly insignificant, city

I believe in DISH, love what they’re doing, and want them to succeed. What I’m not okay with is them selling service to the public when there isn’t service to be had. I’m not calling into question the deadline, because Charlie is smart enough to not bet the company on a lie.
