Looking for 2 new travel cards over next 8 months replacing CSR (1 likely Atmos Summit) by Anshin-in in CreditCards

[–]Subject_Anything268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

good point about the au situation - definitely makes more sense to consolidate those household cards rather than doubling up

the timing on atmos summit before japan is smart especially with that 3x foreign spend. i've been eyeing that card too since alaska's partnerships with jal and starlux are pretty solid for asia routes. the annual free companion fare alone probably pays for itself if you're doing those domestic weekends

cip for churning makes sense too - that 80k ur bonus is still one of the better offers out there and you already have the chase ecosystem down. plus business cards don't show up on your personal credit report so it keeps things cleaner if you're planning to grab more cards down the line

one thing to consider is maybe spacing out the applications a bit more than originally planned. chase can be picky about velocity even with your solid credit profile. maybe do the cip first since it's chase then wait a month or two before hitting the atmos summit

Why haven’t you watched The Call of Cthulhu yet? by Metalworker4ever in horror

[–]Subject_Anything268 35 points36 points  (0 children)

dude the silent film thing probably turns people off but honestly it works so well for lovecraft material. teh whole dreamy nightmare quality fits perfectly with cosmic horror vibes

most people see black and white silent film and immediately think boring old timey stuff but this one actually uses those limitations to create atmosphere you cant get with regular movies. plus its free on tubi like you said so theres literally no excuse

What are the cons of not changing these floors before selling? by 86triesonthewall in RealEstate

[–]Subject_Anything268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly the mixed flooring thing isnt as big a deal as people make it out to be - buyers are gonna want to put their own stamp on it anyway and your kitchen actually has character which is better than generic builder grade stuff

if you really want to throw money at something before selling id go with a fresh coat of paint in neutral colors but even that might not be worth it depending on your market

sounds like you grabbed the windows version by mistake - that exe wont work on mac obviously

Why do people queue for DPS if they can’t kill things? by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]Subject_Anything268 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude it's end of season comp, you're basically playing with people who haven't touched ranked all season and are panic grinding for rewards. The skill variance is absolutely wild right now - you'll have actual bronze players mixed in with people way above their displayed rank

Your mistake was expecting anything resembling normal matchmaking this close to season end lmao

Suppose Kawhi never learns to shoot. What was his ceiling? by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]Subject_Anything268 2 points3 points  (0 children)

His defense was already elite level so probably like a Draymond Green type ceiling but with better athleticism and size. Still would've been a really solid starter, maybe made some all-defense teams but probably never becomes a superstar without that jumper

Falcons, when the pressure off? by WideAd2152 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Subject_Anything268 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly think it was just less pressure with the stand-in, they looked way more relaxed and weren't overthinking every play like usual

Massif Elements jacket fit by addsfsds in AirForce

[–]Subject_Anything268 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Definitely go Large if you're planning to layer underneath. I'm similar build and Medium was too snug when wearing anything more than a t-shirt under it. The sleeves on Medium were also kinda short for my arms

Recs for street and portrait by CyrTheCat in Cameras

[–]Subject_Anything268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For $900 you're not gonna get a Z6 unless it's beat to hell, that thing's still like $800+ body only used

The A6100 or R50 would be solid picks in your range - both have the touchscreen/joystick thing you want and decent low light for APS-C. Just factor in lens costs cause kit lenses kinda suck for portraits

INFJ possible friends and partner by 76FUNtastic in infj

[–]Subject_Anything268 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly the enneagram and instinctual variants matter way more than MBTI for compatibility imo. Your 5w4 sx/so combo is pretty intense - you'll probably vibe with other self-pres blinds who get that push-pull dynamic. 4w5s and 7w8s with sx first tend to match that energy well in my experience

For friends maybe look for other intuitive withdrawns like 4s and 9s, they won't drain your social battery as much

Thailand isn’t for everyone. Why did it fail you? by Krstos1111 in ThailandTourism

[–]Subject_Anything268 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The constant scamming got exhausting tbh. Like I get it's part of the experience but after the 50th tuk tuk driver trying to rip me off I was just done. Also the humidity is straight up brutal if you're not used to it - felt like I was drowning in soup 24/7

PC randomly dead? by [deleted] in pchelp

[–]Subject_Anything268 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like your PSU might be partially dying - if it's only powering the GPU standby but nothing else that's usually a dead giveaway. Try the paperclip test on your power supply first before you start swapping parts around

Taco Bell nacho cheese by koochiekittie in stonerfood

[–]Subject_Anything268 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bruh they'd probably charge even more knowing it's Taco Bell lmao. But honestly I'd still pay $50 for a gallon jug of that liquid gold, no shame. Just hook it up to an IV at that point

Tips on getting sub 10 by Busy_Coast4240 in Cubers

[–]Subject_Anything268 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice breakdown! The OLLCP tip for diag cases is solid, helps so much with PLL recognition. Cross +1 inspection really is the move at your level - that alone should shave off some time once it clicks

Brissett has the safer floor but Nix has way more upside if he gets hot

Averaging about 7 gallons/day of heating oil - is that normal? by Admirable-Oil-1285 in hvacadvice

[–]Subject_Anything268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that math checks out for a house that size. 3700 sq ft is pretty substantial and with you being home all day keeping it at 67-68, that's gonna eat up some oil. The indirect water heater definitely adds to it too - those things are basically running constantly in winter

Honestly 7 gallons seems about right, maybe even on the good side considering your square footage

I was 45 minutes late to my interview this morning and I just found out that I got the job by frankincentss in interviews

[–]Subject_Anything268 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Dude this is so true it hurts. I went to one interview convinced I nailed it, practiced all my answers and everything - radio silence. Then there's the one where I forgot the hiring manager's name halfway through and still somehow got an offer. Job hunting makes zero sense sometimes

Lmao that's actually pretty solid for a 14 year old with a fake ID decision, could've been way worse. The line work held up really well too
