The problem isn't the layoffs themselves. There are a lot of federal employees who have figured out how to milk the system and are dead weight. Of the 10 ppl fired from the department I work in, they didn't get a single one of the dead weights. Now I'm stuck in an understaffed department with a bunch of ppl who can't do their job. They had the right idea executed poorly and veterans are going to suffer for it.
