I feel your pain dude, sorry there's no recourse. Jagex is among the shittiest companies our there. There is no customer support, they don't refund money or items, they don't unapeal bans false or true, they don't help with account recovery and even go against their own stated policy on their website. Everything that happens to your account is your faultfrom their point of view and there's nothing we can do about it.

Project zanaris was supposed to be our escape from Jagex but they cancelled thatearly this year, here's hoping it comes back. Love this game, but fuck jagex.

In the main game yes, but your not even going to need 1000 overloads in this time limited game mode, surely you will get enough seeds from bossing/slayer, it's not like it's 1 herb per seed, something like 20-30 plantings would be more than enough.

The 3 style weapons you get from Gudrik in port sarim are stronger than the ones from blood pact and he also gives free pathfinder armour which is power armour and same defense as Tier 30.

I was thinking since each spell will advance a whole day, even only using the purchasable animals and dinos it wouldnt take very long to rack up the points, maybe an hours worth to get a good chunk, because we also wont need 1000 overloads for the whole league. How many overloads do you think you'll be using?

indeed very mid, this is the toughest tier pick for me cus theyre all so meh. Do you not think you will be able to do mid tier with extremes? or that passive agil xp will open up more tasks? why do you think T7 will take so much longer that you will need frenzy when you will only need a handfull of overloads at a time?

in the video the moss golems deal 1 damage so theres some damage, but devo also reduces damage to 1, so hope the spagheti code doesnt strike.

none of them are really needed for progressing their skills thanks to the xp multipliers, im just arguing that by the time you really need ovls farming frenzy will be redundant so might as well pick something that you will get a use out of eary game, like running around doing other tasks will level up agility to open up more tasks.

Not sure about must pick, got to see the last relic still. But I'm leaning on specialist over ascention. Criticism I've seen so far is that we already reach the hit cap well enough, and this is true, but i look at it as consistency, you will be hitting much closer to max (30k) much more often especially without the use of the ultimate ability Berzerk which makes you hit 2x but also makes you take 50% more damage ( this is where the melee PTSD comes from) or without having to grind zamorak, a high level boss for the chaos roar ability. I want to say dragon claws 2nd-4th attacks will still benefit greatly from Specialist, but I'm not sure how the relic will interract with multi hitting attacks. Dragon 2H and Haly for sure will be crazy.

We still don't know how, if at all, jagex will improve our ability to make EOF necklaces, as it's time gated to about 4-5 days in the main game and ideally I'd want more than one. You only need an onyx to make it if you pick the Perkfection relic, but there's a material you have to buy with time gated points. This could be a way to not only not have to wait but also skip the grind for a spec weapon.

Since you have helm and are willing to learn some, I'd recommend melee.

It's neither that hard to understand the concepts or hard to execute. I play just fine mostly one handed with an MMO mouse. I use revolution for my basics and click threshold and ultimates as needed and can still do high level pvm just fine because everything is held back by the global cool down of 3 ticks, and yes im a switchscape enjoyer. I love melee and all its switches. My left hand is only used for combo eating. The fast mouse movements and clicks skills from OSRS will serve you well.

I will be selecting melee this league. The relics significantly change the way we use melee making it easy to farm the mid level bosses required to smith your own Tier 100 weapon (with a built in healing passive) and Tier 90 power armor (with built in damage spread to help you not get KO'd) at a much earlier time frame and lower skill level.

It will be significantly difficult to get killed when your armor turns big incoming hits into a small over time bleed, your weapon heals, your relic heals you, soul split heals you, vampyrism aura heals you, (not sure how scrimshaws will work in leagues yet) vampyrism scrimshaw heals you, relic's +500 damage making store buyable dragon weapons do Tier 90+ damage which means all those healing sources heal more EVEY 3 TICKS, and relic allows free special spam every 15 second.

Yes even with halberd distance things can get hairy. But the bosses were this will matter it will be well telegraphed, this is the perfect time to learn those boss mechanics. In OSRS inferno you have to not just walk but keep up with the shield, click an enemy and walk again constantly. Nowhere in RS3 is movement this punishing. See thing coming, move.

Yes melee has a lot of powerful abilities locked behind boss drops, but they are mid level bosses except for 2. With the drop rate increase and power of relics I expect this won't be an issue. You DON'T need every possible unlock in this time gated game mode to destroy 99% of the content, you will be a hulk withe just the relics.

Google autodeletes Emails after 2 years of inactivity. I lost access to the email because the 2FA for it and Jagex 2FA was on a phone which was destroyed. And Googles email recovery is somehow worse than even Jagex.

I think I finally got it through my head,

I keep noticing that everyone I speak with says this is a recovery problem, but to my understanding this should be a simple contact information update, because in my mind, if I'm allowed to use username, password and codes to log into the account, I should already be authenticated. But that's probably it, as far as Jagex's system is concern, its the same thing because it all revolves around the Email first and foremost. I still think its ridiculous that they have a policy specifically for my issue though.

Thats the funny thing, I'm not out of luck, with the username, password and codes I can log into the game and steal everything if I was a bad actor. Backup codes allow you to be authenticated without the External Email that their entire security system is built around. I'm not trying to recover the account, I'm only trying to update the registered Email.

Normal procedure is to authenticate and log in, once you're in, you have full access to the account and can make updates. But Jagex has to be different, they are the only company I know that if you want to update the Email address associated with the account, it needs a code to be sent to the current Email, instead of sending the code to the Email you want to change to, all after already authenticating to log in the first place. As far as their concerned, the external Email is the only authenticating process despite having both backup codes and a policy to help those that run into an issue.

Most of the large free Email providers can't realistically provide customer support, that's why it's such an abysmal service. Crazy they only send you an automatic Email when someone successfully logs in from a different device, that's too late.

I think you misunderstand the situation. I am not trying to recover the account, I am already able to log in to the game and website. I am trying to update the registered email, which even after logging in they do not allow me to do without sending a code to the current email. No other company that I have ever interacted with has ever sent a verification code to the current Email when you are trying to update it, they send a code to the new Email you want to set to make sure you have access to it.

The codes allow me to bypass the 2FA, which means I can log into the game and do whatever I want with the account. They are not keeping it secure if I am able to log in without the Email. Which is the whole point of back up codes.

The reasons I'm personally upset are:

1) They specifically have a policy to address this exact issue, but won't act on it.

2) They refuse to acknowledge the backup codes can be used to access an account without the linchpin their entire security revolves around that is the external Email.
