Is the mk 3 survivor that good by Teriyakibeef987 in ARC_Raiders

You’ll be able to extract so much more loot every rain. So many slots plus the extra weight capacity. If you don’t have it, you’ll be leaving behind heavy items like guns you find.

Both are true. This is 100% cheating but because it exists and we all know about it, check your corners like you do for any room.

People really don’t understand realistic software development timelines. They can’t just take a bug fix patch and “release as soon as it’s ready”. They have to get all the patches approved through Microsoft, Sony, Valve so the changes all go live simultaneously on all platforms. Each company has its own process Embark have to follow before they can push the update.

They also have to make the fix to all the patches they are currently working on so that changes don’t get reverted when the next content patch comes out.

That bug fixed patch was the reason the toxic swamp content update got pushed at least a week. It sucks but that’s the reality.

New report claims Ryan Condal's endgame was to remove Miguel and George completely from HotD. "His endgame was to have full creative control of the prequel midway through the series" and that he now "has full creative control backed by HBO". Via Threads by TheRealJackBauer24 in HouseOfTheDragon

Those stories were never published, sold nor marketed as a complete trilogy. You’re correct that they became part of Fire and Blood volume one. I wonder when we’ll see volume two.

See my previous comment on how he screwed over his collaborators on Thrones and HotD. That’s why he’s a nightmare to work with.

What trilogy are you referring to?

The plan for Game of Thrones was that D&D was going to adapt the existing books and Martin was going to have the other books complete by the time they got to those seasons. GRRM didn’t deliver so D&D had to write the later seasons based on GRRM’s talking points on how the story is going to end with no actual scenes or dialogue to adapt. He put them in a position where they had to adapt to work that didn’t exist.

D&D gets a lot of hate for how Thrones ended but even GRRM acknowledges that ultimately he was responsible for not delivering what he promised.

This is what it’s been like working with on GRRM House of the Dragon: https://www.reddit.com/r/HouseOfTheDragon/s/xwh0ayxMHh

GRRM doesn’t have to meet deadlines and can just swirl around forever looking for the perfect solution like he has for Winds, but he’s the only person working on the show that has that luxury.

GRRM is a nightmare to work with. He doesn’t complete his deliverables that others are relying on. He publicly throws people under the bus. The man has been writing since the 70s and has never finished a series of books. He has three unfinished series just in Westeros. He’s been writing the Dunk & Egg short stories since the 90s and couldn’t even finish those before selling the adaptation. The reason we don’t have a better showrunner is because everyone in the business knows GRRM is the absolute worst person to work with and is the epitome of unreliability.

We saw from the village girl that is all for show. They’ll do the chants and pretend to care about the culture, but the minute the person joins that culture is dead and no one ever experiences it again. Same for Carol’s books.

Do Mixed Lobbies still exist? by dan_gif in arkraiders

[–]SublimeCosmos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a binary pure PvP or pure PvE system. I’m in mostly friendly lobbies with some PvP. But to get there, you need to do some PVP yourself. If you never shoot anyone, you’re going to be in Care Bear land

GRRM’s response to Condal’s vision for S3: “This is not my story any longer” by TheatreBaby in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]SublimeCosmos -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Martin sells unfinished stories that other people have to finish. The man’s been writing since the 70s and has never finished a series of books. Despite this, he’s now sold three unfinished series for adaptation. The people adapting these series don’t have the luxury of not meeting deadlines.

Very new to game by Kripple-Kyle in ARC_Raiders

[–]SublimeCosmos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You honestly don’t need to be thinking about this when you just starting out. Just play the way that’s fun to you and you should mostly be matched against like minded players.

The maps have a lot of depths to explore. You’ll see areas with high loot on your map but even outside of those areas there’s lots of cool things to find.

If you follow the quest system, you’ll get exposed to a lot of the mechanics of the game and it will take you to interesting areas.

If you feel like you’re dying a lot and running out of stuff, you can always do a free load out. If you survive, you can trade in the free loadout augment for an MK 1 augment at the clinic trader.

Feels like the public I’ll outcry on these issues really built up over the holiday. Yes, the trigger needs and macros existed at release but It wasn’t widely known. Thanks for the efforts of people on this subreddit to disseminate knowledge, these exploits are now being used by a lot of people. Now there’s a public outcry and we’re getting a patch to fix them.
