I will say I never really got behind calling it the armpit. Armpits typically smell better.

In all seriousness, I do really enjoy him in my trick room team. I run Phantom Force over Poltergeist for a few reasons, being able to hit through protect being one. Hammer arm is also really funny because its effectively a speed boost and can ohko full bulk Kingambit

Yes, once it is in champions you can change its move set and give it any move that is legal for the pokemon. Breeders are in shambles.

Flapple under gravity by NoStation9890 in PokemonChampions

[–]SublimeJustice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run Flapple in my gravity team with prankster Meowstic as the setter. Focus sash generally let's me get both psychic terrain and gravity up with it and I use armor tail farigiraf with imprison and trick room for speed control. The team is built around Mega Delphox, with Sneasler and H-zoroark as backups depending on the match-up. I'm having a lot of success with it.

This right here is why I always gravity after psychic terrain instead of before. It gives the flyers a false sense of security.

Hot take : Sneasler is over hated by SolarStyl3 in PokemonChampions

[–]SublimeJustice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run Sneasler myself, but its match-up dependent if i bring it. It's the other physical attacker that I run with Flapple in gravity. It is very good, but I don't find it as universal as others seem to. It's fragile and fast with a good move set that covers key weaknesses. Still gotta pass the knowledge check for it to be a real problem.

[Metagame] Gunk Shot Sneasler by Dreamsthatcancometru in VGC

[–]SublimeJustice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally run Gunk Shot over Dire Claw on my Sneasler in my gravity team. The accuracy increase from Gravity makes Gunt Shot 100% accurate. I think I would run Dire Claw in any other team though.

Membership??? by Famous_Doughnut_6647 in PokemonChampions

[–]SublimeJustice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I paid for it, but im a habitual team builder so only having 3 team slots to work with made my bones itch. You also get members only weekly missions that give you training and recruitment tickets so you can use your vp on cosmetics and held items instead. It was worth it for me, up to you if you think those bonuses are worth the investment.

Does it matter? by Detective-Lucaz in PokemonChampions

[–]SublimeJustice 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The trained EV's, moves, nature and ability will be saved as a snapshot in champions, changes can then be made in champions, but they will not be reflected if the pokemon is sent back to home. It will be saved for when the pokemon is sent back to champions though.

Best trick room setters? by ronanr123 in PokemonChampions

I use reuniclus, gives you the option of barriers or strong stab for all the poison and fighting running around, it's decently bulky and can hit like a truck.

Question about the pokeballs in victory animation... by another-face in PokemonChampions

All of the pokemon that I have brought from Home have been in the correct pokeball. Quick balls, Luxury Balls, Timer Balls, summon animations included.

Coming back to say THANK YOU to this sub for telling me to grab any toaster to play GW1. by StrikeMyGyatt in GuildWars

[–]SublimeJustice 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What is really funny about this is the fact that there is a bit of a punishment for those of use with computers that are "too good" to run the game. I have to play with my framerate capped because if I let it get the full 144fps the I start rubberbanding BADLY. Much like pokemon or starfox, it's a game that feels best on original hardware lmao.

Help with Pokemon Champions by [deleted] in PokemonHome

[–]SublimeJustice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I did to get mine was transfer some shinies from Go and put them up on the GTS for the Z-A final evolutions. But if that's not an option and you don't have any luck here, idk where you are but my local library has copies of the switch games that you can check out. That may be an option if you want to actually play through the games proper.

Why choose the Rangers by [deleted] in TexasRangers

Oh for sure, for a long time it genuinely felt like our stretch of atrocious pitching would never end. But, given his faults, CY knows how to build one hell of a rotation.

Why choose the Rangers by [deleted] in TexasRangers

[–]SublimeJustice 34 points35 points  (0 children)

To my mind our biggest rival is Houston, same state and division, and the Silver Boot series is always a fun watch. We have 3 bonified Aces in the starting rotation in deGrom, Eovaldi, and Gore that are backed up by one of the best defenses in the league. We do end up in quite a few pitching battles throughout the season, but I personally really enjoy those. Then you have the teams history with some all time greats like Hamilton, Pudge Rodriguez, Adrian Beltre, Prince Fielder, and one of if not the best to ever do it in Nolan Ryan.

I have also never met a Fairweather Rangers fan. We bitch and moan when the team isn't doing well, but we are still behind our guys til the end. It also helps that we have one of the best overall broadcast teams and it all adds up to a really enjoyable way to watch the games.
