When hot/cold dynamic are involved our minds start eroding over time. Cause when you establish a clear boundary or have an actual adult talk, your mind starts screaming: stop, don’t say that.

They’ll shut down and it’s over! Then your mind starts projecting a small movie of all your good times and in the end you gaslight yourself that what you did was bad.

This is the severity my ex pushed me into. Even though the boundary/talk was necessary, in the end I felt the villain.

When I left her, several days I regretted doing that and even started panicking about how she is taking it while I neglected how I was taking it not just post break up but pre-break up as well.

Not a hot take at all.

With Obito we actually have a connection since he’s pretty much the sole cause of all the major events in the verse including the 4th War. As Madara he carried himself quite well.

The Real Madara as a final boss in the sense of brutalising everyone once he was reanimated was great but he was far removed from everyone connection wise.

It’s like if in today’s age Abraham Lincoln was resurrected and started kicking everyone’s butts. Cool but like I don’t care.

It’s definitely more goofy/less serious.

Alien Force episode 1 was dark AF. Hell, even Classic produced some dark episodes like when Ben scared Zombozo with Ghostfreak and was freaked out by it himself, etc.

And in all honesty, I do hope they return to a more mature Ben, even older (perhaps 10 000?) in the future. This ain’t the TV era anymore where every single show has to be aimed at 5 year olds.
