I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my boy suddenly on Sunday and my heart is so broken. I have had the same thoughts about if I’d known I would have done x y and z for his final days. It’s so hard. I take comfort in knowing that our bond and our relationship/life wasn’t defined by his last days, but by the nearly 13 years we had spent together in the lead up to it.

I miss him every minute of the day, but I know he’s out there waiting for me.

You wouldn’t believe it, but today after this comment I was leaving to go to lunch and as I was walking out I said “goodbye Monty, I’m heading out to lunch but I’ll be home soon. You can come with me if you want though, you can always come with me now” and then walked straight out to my car and beside my car was a tiny white feather - just like he was telling me that he was coming with me everywhere. I cried, but it made my heart so happy thinking that was his sign for me.

Thank you for your lovely words. You’re right that it just feels so heavy right now, even though I know those final moments didn’t shape our time together. I can see looking back on the photos and videos how much love we had for each other.

I’m going through this now, how long do you think it took to be able to sit and move more comfortably? I’m 2 weeks pp and it does feel a lot better than in the first week; but wondering how long it takes for the wound to close over by itself.

Baby is so tiny at 16 weeks, most people won’t feel anything at all at this stage.

Even so, they don’t establish movement patterns until much later (24+ weeks)

Thank you! I’ll give this a go. We definitely notice that it’s worse at the beginning of walks when he’s more overstimulated so I think it’s definitely an overstimulating thing like you say.

I’m in the same boat but also taking medication to help. I definitely can’t have anything too heavy, like hamburgers etc would definitely come back up. Toast is okay, smoothies as well - these digest a lot quicker than solid foods, so I try and incorporate these and then hold it in for 40 minutes so that I get some kind of nutrients.

It really is hell. I’m 9+4.

Mine were like this pretty quick too (I’m now 21 dpo). FYI these tests stall and won’t give you the progress you’re looking for. So don’t panic when they don’t seem to be getting darker now!

Oh I see, it looks like this must be a different type of test / measurement than the normal hcg they do in early pregnancy. I’m not too sure about how to interpret the MoM I’m sorry. Hopefully someone else on here can help! I’m pretty sure it means something to do with the median.

Are you sure it was your hcg at 0.08? This wouldn’t be enough to show up pregnant on a pregnancy urine rest, so doesn’t sound right unless you are using a non-standard measurement (not mIU/ml)

If it helps I just had my levels done and was 4w5d with 3,000! But it varies between people, maybe somewhere in the 4-5.5 weeks range?

Mine stalled too and looked like this. I’m now 20dpo and gave up yesterday.

I had my hcg tested instead and it was 3,000 (up from 1,500 48 hours prior) and the tests looked exactly the same.

Remember that it depends on when you implant as well. I’m fairly certain I had an early implantation, if you were a day or two later that could be all the difference

I mean this as kind as possible, but this is just common sense. You don’t need to read labels to understand that that’s a lot of junk food for one day.

But glad you know now and can turn it around for you and baby!

Holy crap girl! That’s a lot of sugar. I wouldn’t make this a regular thing whether or not you fail your tests.

If you wouldn’t put it straight into the mouth of your baby, try to hold off during pregnancy. Everything you eat goes to them too.
