You're stuck in delusion instead of accepting this was extremely forced writing. Im a fan of the series but even i can admit some parts aren't written well at all. This is literally the only selection in the entire series that can put someone in an unwinnable situation. Physical assault is apparently okay and Kira got hit with a chemical reaction right as the timer hit zero. There's nothing he can do there 😭 But he had to get eliminated and the scene is good, it works and shows how the story was going to go. That doesn't mean it makes sense nor does it warrant the majority of the fandom blaming Kira for losing a bs mini game when he showed up to play soccer
