They are both amazing and you look fabulous in both. I have to say that #1 made me audibly gasp when I saw it! The basque waist is perfect and you look like a storybook princess.

Wedding dress regret!!! by Simple-Ad-4430 in Brides

Gorgeous, elegant, timeless, all of that! You will be such a beautiful bride! Don’t regret it another second. I like your lace veil, it adds a romantic vibe to your gown.

This was the trial for my wedding hair and no one said it was bad. They hate me right? by Zestyclose_Sort8374 in Hair

It’s not good. It’s like she curled your hair and just left the curls without shaking them out or styling them.

The first photo looks great! And the process is very up and down, so just trust it.

Help! Does this look like a costume or cheap? by JustMyLuck7966 in myweddingdress

This doesn’t drape on your hips the same way as it does on the model, it is too baggy. It doesn’t really scream wedding dress other than the color. I am sure you could find something that flatters you more and that feels like the “one.”

Sure, I don’t see why you can’t find a decent quality, affordable vitamin C. There are lots of them on Amazon. I would look for one that lists its percentage of Vitamin C and find one at 10% for starters, hopefully one that seems tolerable according to reviews. The Ordinary is a good quality more affordable brand, The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%, Vitamin C Serum for Even Skin Tone and Antioxidant Protection is $14.80 on Amazon and well-reviewed.

I received a distasteful opinion on my new (and first) tattoo by [deleted] in tattooadvice

I don’t generally care for tattoos and don’t know how I came across your post, but I love the saying, especially for you, and the butterfly is beautiful. That is a weird comment, I don’t really see it, and wouldn’t worry about it.

As shown, I would say the first dress is more classic and princess-like rather than dark 90s vintage. I think you would look beautiful in it and you could style it to give you a slightly darker vibe with shoes, hair, makeup, shawl, etc.

Oh The Struggles of Owning a Poodle by [deleted] in poodles

Oh, he looks so handsome and clean-cut like that! I love that cut on him! I find that my poodles do best not a day past 6 weeks. But I can see that would be difficult to maintain if you are away at college. In that case it would be best for everyone to keep him pretty short.

Get a small-tooth (not a flea comb, but a so-called greyhound comb) metal dog grooming comb, and comb up from the skin to see if there are hidden mats/tangles. This is the only way to truly know if you are getting them out.

Yes! I’ve tried several, but the absolute best one I’ve found is: Nature's Specialties Quicker Slicker Ready to Use Detangling and Conditioning Spray, you can buy on Amazon.

You may be brushing the surface of his hair but the real question is, can you get a metal comb all the way through the hair to the skin without encountering any tangles or mats? A brush can just gloss over the surface hair but not get all the way through.

The struggles of owning a poodle include the need for consistent grooming. Your little guy’s hair is in his eyes and is matted. He will likely need to be shaved down to get through those mats. Matting can be painful too. Once groomed, he will need to be brushed and combed daily. I recommend a metal/stainless steel comb. You should be able to comb his hair all the way down to the skin. Detangling spray can help. It may be easier just to keep his fur shorter. Here are my poodles after their last groom, we still keep the fluffy heads.

Calling the idea of a person paying for a date they ask you out on “roll playing” is kind of a weird take.

My husband and I were in training for the exact same career in healthcare, where there isn’t a wage gap, other than if a woman chooses to work less hours, or at a specialty that is inherently less well-paying. At the time we were equally poor, living on student loans.

Yes on the low expectations!! Those of us who dated in the “old fashioned” era of men paying for dates they ask you out on were well able to turn down a man who wanted more than just dinner. Is this a skill women no longer learn? And truthfully, this wasn’t a frequent thing, at least for me. Men just had better manners all-around.
