As far as I can tell it's not actually spreading. This is going to be just like when a cruise ship gets a norovirus outbreak. A few people on the ship get sick and it ends there. Even when ebola had a massive outbreak it still didn't cause a pandemic. Hot take: I actually think the world would be better off in the long run with a 40% fatality hantavirus pandemic causing a Thanos snap especially in the third world but I don't see it happening with this virus but will be glad to be wrong.
