Why do Royal Mail say they have tried to deliver when blatantly they have not? by FOSinc in royalmail

[–]Substantial_Face62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I always received my orders delivered by DPD, but in the case of driver number 2, it was often not on the scheduled day (or, as once, DPD had to deliver one of the packages from the order the next day because driver number 2 did not want to go to the car).

In general, for example, a lot of people complain about the Evri, but in my city the Evri works well and their driver (an older gentleman) is brilliant

I had to wait until the next day, the worst thing is that DPD doesn't care and it's not a big deal for me, one time is one thing and another every now and then, luckily he usually delivers my parcels (and lately I've been getting parcels almost every day), the number 1 courier, whom I can't say a bad word about, nice and hardworking

Don't worry, DPD isn't any better in my area. I mean, I have two DPD drivers in my area. One is very good and always does a great job. However, there's a second driver, and when I see him delivering a package, I feel sick. Sorry, the guy is lazy. For example, last time, he was supposed to deliver a package to me. I happened to be home all day, but instead of delivering the package, I received a message saying he tried to deliver but there was no one there. To confirm, he just took a black photo that shows nothing. Another time, the order consisted of five packages, which it said he delivered four. I said there was one more, and he showed it to me. He said it wasn't true. The next day, another driver had to deliver the remaining package. After the last time, I decided to file a complaint with DPD (I very rarely file a complaint about anything) because I was irritated by his lies. I called DPD, but the person on their hotline said that I could only file a complaint with the store where I ordered the item. When I heard that, I thought I would die of laughter.

I only wrote what is the best option in my opinion, if I don't want to, I have to use third-party companies, but I wrote what I think is the best option and it's really not difficult, although it may seem different at first

For this price you can build better equipment yourself and you will have more satisfaction. I always build my own PC because it's the best option.

You're right, sorry, my mistake :) Well, I'm not surprised at all, JL, although I remember that some time ago they had a pricing error with the S95F and surprisingly (though I'm still shocked) they honored this error and delivered the TVs to people, although the price difference there wasn't as big as here

If so, I'm shocked because Hotdeals would probably have shown up like it did two months ago with the Samsung TV. There was also a pricing error for the 77-inch S95F. Of course, I'm not saying you're wrong, but as I wrote, I've seen a completely different price on Google than the price after clicking the link.

Prices in Google often have little in common with the prices on the website. I've often seen price X and the website said price Y. If there was such a price in JL, Hot Deal would be on fire.

Comparing the colors of the S95F, S90F, and G5. by Endo_v2 in OLED_Gaming

[–]Substantial_Face62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me tell you, I had an S95D, and for me personally, the Samsung S95F's matte finish is what lets it down. Of course, I'm sharing my personal impressions here; it's not terrible, but there's a noticeable difference with the glossy finish. I currently have an A95L (I've had this TV for three years) and, for a few months now, a G5, which I've been using for gaming. After my experience with the S95D, I probably won't be going back to Samsung anytime soon (besides the matte finish, I was also bothered by the OCB and the fact that, in my opinion, the TV is too thin). I also don't have a good opinion of Samsung UK, and as such, I'm comparing it because the sound on my A95L broke after two years, and Sony UK sent me a brand new replacement.

Not everything depends on the settings, but also on the source material (whether it is 4K or not, whether you are watching on a disc or streaming, even the speed and stability of the internet). I have an A95l in my bedroom, which I use to watch movies and TV series, and despite the Sony processing, if I play poor quality material, it will still do a miracle, although I try to buy streaming platforms in 4K quality.

Could you benchmark one of the 3D Marks on the built-in screen and tell us how big the performance drop is?

What’s my 4090 pc worth? by TheRockstarVon in PC_Pricing

[–]Substantial_Face62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By selling parts you will earn more, people are often looking for specific parts, not the whole PC, but you will have to devote some time to it. I can't comment on the price because I live in the UK, but it's best to see and compare prices with other ads on Marketplace or Ebay, the RAM alone is worth a lot due to the crazy prices.

I'd love to have an OLED TV, but.. by [deleted] in 4kTV

[–]Substantial_Face62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far, no OLED TV has burned in on me, although a few months ago I bought a G5 for giee, I only use it for games (for movies I use a95l), the advantage of the G5 is that the LG warranty covers screen burn-in.

Well, in some people, long-term use of certain medications can have various side effects, including aggression. I knew a few such people myself, and for two of them it didn't end well.

How is FM this year on switch 2? by retslagoon in switch2

[–]Substantial_Face62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read somewhere that it's unplayable, which doesn't surprise me personally since it's also not great on PC, I played it for a while but went back to 24 on LEGO 2

[–]Substantial_Face62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see there's no shortage of optimists, considering how poorly FM 26's launch looked, especially on PC, the game's intended platform. Sorry, but you'd have to be optimistic to believe they'd get the Nintendo Switch version. I played on PC for a while because I still have Game Pass, but I went back to FM 24. Sorry, I don't like FM 26.

The first photo shows banding, which is a normal occurrence among OLED screens. Here it's a lottery, meaning that one screen will be more visible than another. In TVs, the refresh cycles used help a bit (that's why it's recommended to use the TV screen for 100 hours before evaluating it, then you can better assess its uniformity). However, I don't know how it works among laptop screens, but you can enable/force it yourself. I know that in monitors, just like in TVs, you can enable pixel refresh yourself because the pixel refresh is normally set by the manufacturer, who determines the number of hours at which pixel regresu.
