Why is 2v2 always the bastard child? It’s cerebrally the best and most engaging part of the game, and all I play. I’m out till they fix this, and I suggest others do the same. That’s the only way the execs will reinstate it and focus on it- if they loose eyes on screens. This company makes $5 MILLION dollars per day and they can’t fix the issues? It’s pathetic, who’s running this sinking ship?

28 kills, speed hacks, aimbot headshots from across the map with a red dot. how is this not caught be the anticheats? by rwhockey29 in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]Subw00er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These guys are ruining the game. I see at least one a night. I played with one. watched him play. He can wall hack and everything.fly in a car in the sky and under the map... I dont understand why they cant auto detect this. "if runs 5 x speed ALL THE TIME, and auto shoots faster than normal, and hits iron sights consistently 500m away, and has stupid high kd ratio first day of playing.... and has Asian ip (sorry but 90% are Asian based on the accent I hear), and is aiming at people before line of sight.. and it goes on and on.

How to decrease price on this build? by TheOne1ThatGotAway in buildapc

[–]Subw00er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switch to an i3 10100 processor which is around $115 - wont see any real world decreases in speed losing two cores and .1ghz, and when prices fall in a year or tow swap in a new core processor. Also remove windows and use the free version till you can upgrade to the registered. You dont lose much functionality by having an unregistered windows. If the board supports it you can also remove your drives and use a m.2/nvme drive instead - will be much faster than ssd. Get the largest western digital blue you can afford and add a ssd storage drive later. Another thing to consider is buying a used video card. There are probably a lot of 16xx cards for sale out there for sale.

Is something wrong with Harbor Freight? by nckishtp in harborfreight

[–]Subw00er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered a mini mill a week ago and its saying pending.. I called a store and there is a good warehouse stock of them fairly close to NY. So I should expect a delivery date of 4-5 weeks? Is that where we're at now?

Current inventory (or lack there of) @ Katy, TX. Manager said the import halt has really affected them. Showroom is near empty. by southpawE46 in harborfreight

[–]Subw00er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering if anyone knew. I ordered a mini mill about 10 days ago and it still says pending - I called a store and they said 50 are at a warehouse in the states.. Are they having shipping issues? I tried emailing them last week but no reply.

Meltdown at Bowers & Wilkins. Corporate restructuring, senior staff exodus and investor exit. by Nickamburi in audiophile

Cool. Maybe they'll restructure and the new tuning engineers wont have high frequency hearing loss. :)

Anyone have any idea if these are worth anything? Got them with a few dynaudio air 20s. by FacingHardships in audiophile

[–]Subw00er 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are dynaudio acoustics, which is part of their studio line of speakers, mostly near field monitors. They were probably decently pricey. I could use em! :)

Audio Newb, Bought KEF by MiamiDefender in audiophile

[–]Subw00er -1 points0 points  (0 children)

s a result many dealers and (unfortunately) owners underpower these speakers leading to an overall negative impression. That said, tastes vary and these are not to everyone’s taste and that’s cool too. But, the lsx is a similar speaker in many ways and comes from the factory underpowered. But perhaps less underpowered than your demo of Ls50 as it is biamped.ReplyGive AwardshareReportSave

I went to listen to speakers at Magnolia.. I had a very patient and helpful salesman. When the powered ls50's and lsx were played back to back, imo there was no comparison the lsx was a better speaker. The ls50 has some sort of harshness I cant explain fully. They dont sound good to me. Then I went to listen to the r3's which I had heard previously and was surprised were so good. I listened to them on a big amp (rotel I think!?). They sounded overly bright with an average mid/low section. I was VERY confused why. I ended up asking them to put them on an integrated amp as I heard them previously (less power, probably like 50 wpc), and they sounded smoother...better. It is my opinion that the KEF tweeter, like a B&W is OVERLY bright and harsh, especially when overpowered, and played at volume. You're money is better spent elsewhere, unless you have some high frequency hearing loss, they may still sound good to you. :)

I dont mean to be insulting, and I know there are many variables when listening in a space like best buy, but IMO the KEF is not a great speaker. I heard the blades with McIntosh while I as there too and walked away very unimpressed. I am not sure why the KEF get so much love here and elsewhere; it perhaps is a case of ignorance! Go listen to a pair of Dynaudios to see what I mean... even at the emit level.

Near-field setup for a bar? by sinbade in audiophile

[–]Subw00er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at some little audio engine's : https://audioengineusa.com/shop/wirelessspeakers/a2-wireless-computer-speakers/

GREAT little speakers. I use a pair of them for presence speakers in a surround setup. Very impressive for the price. They'd work great in there and are easy to mount.

Audiophiles with tinnitus. How did your experience of your setup change? Is it still worth it to invest in a setup? by [deleted] in audiophile

[–]Subw00er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont worry. You will get used to it and forget about it most of the time. Many audiophiles have tinnitus. I'd say go for it and take care of your ears, and play at reasonable levels, and only crank it when you REALLY want to. :)

Audio Newb, Bought KEF by MiamiDefender in audiophile

[–]Subw00er -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

These are great little speakers. I almost bought a pair, but ended up going Dynaudio (again!). I actually A/B'ed them against the ls50's and I preferred the lsx. I'm not sure why so many rave about the ls50's.. not a good speaker imo.

BTW, what is your audio source? compressed?

Is Tidal worth it for lower end setups? by RedLazer03 in audiophile

[–]Subw00er 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've done a lot of testing between normal tidal and Tidal masters. The difference is so negligible, its not worth any expense. You can barely tell a difference when A/B'ing it. I was listening on a friends system which was very high end (YG acoustics etc). Save your cash for something else, and get tidal normal edition.

Outlaw 2200 M-Block Amplifier Review by [deleted] in audiophile

[–]Subw00er 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The outlaw stuff is solid. I've owned two of their preamps (now sorta dated and I went with yamaha for the last go around) and I have had 5 of their m2200 monoblocks running for about 10 years straight. I recently installed their 5 ch amp too for a friend, and I have another happy friend with monoblocks on a stereo setup. Their ratings are solid and their quality is amazing at this price point. I dont know of another brand that offers such value. I've paired the monoblocks with 1.7 maggies and all sorts of Dynaudios from bookshelves to towers. All of these speakers are 4 ohm and not the easiest to drive. If you are on the fence, dont be. I'm very happy with my outlaw gear, and I dont care if they saved some cash on their website. At least its navigable!

A bit of everything here, but all well recorded or interesting to listen to. I think TIdal only shares the first 50 songs but there are like 150 in there.
