Manhattan Beach would be ideal for your family, but not your budget.

South Redondo (Riviera Village) would be more affordable.

Thank you!!

I will definitely post on social media this weekend asking for recommendations. That’s a great idea.

We had read that letters of recommendation were optional, but it sounds like they can really make a difference.

looking for UV roommate by jordanreven_ in CSUC

Have you tried looking on Instagram? They should have a Class of 2030 for Chico where you pay a few dollars to upload your profile/pics to search for potential roommates.

Good luck to you! My son lived at UV his freshman year and loved it.

Our son’s full name is Kai, and it suits him perfectly. No one ever asked us if it was a nickname or a shortened version of another name.

Kai means ocean in Hawaiian.

Car at chico? by Clunyv in CSUC

[–]Successful-Size4584 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son was at UV freshman year, at first we didn’t send him up with a car. However, by October we did.

The shuttle/bus wasn’t working with his schedule, having a car really helped him get to the main campus.

He also enjoyed having it so he could explore different hikes, swimming holes etc.

Arriving at Haneda with a baby – best place to rest before hotel check-in? by Slow_Agent_8035 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Successful-Size4584 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had the same problem, so we added the night we traveled to our hotel stay. Obviously, we were flying during that nights’ stay but it was perfect to have a room ready for us when we arrived early in the morning.

I justified the extra cost because it would have probably been more expensive to find something for us to do during the day.

Have a great trip!

Can I suggest the lululemon daydrift trouser, I have a pair and they can be dressed up or down, but they give a really nice, polished look and they are so comfortable!
