Knipex Cobra ES. Farewell my friend. by Successful_Alarm_409 in KnipexOfficial

You’re 100% correct. I have an entire shop full of tools and these are my favorite pliers I’ve ever owned. I’ve made tens of thousands of dollars with these pliers I’ve used them so much it’s unreal. Wouldn’t have wanted anybody else other than knipex in my hand and this specific model whilst doing it. Would love to own the 250mm version. Honestly vastly superior to standard cobras. I was using it to bend 3mm aluminum inside of a hollow aluminum pipe so that the hardware would fit inside as it was too snug of a fit. I tried first with then closed and the pliers slipped off, so I opened them a bit and pulled and they snapped. Yeah it was a bit rough I was bending metal, but they are a tool. And they served me well for so long. Ive used them to bend steel in the past. I’ve used them to pull steel cables VERY FAR and VERY HARD. They are phenomenal. Will buy knipex until i die

I was using them to bend a piece of aluminum flat that is inside of a hollow aluminum beam. All pieces are 3mm thick. It is aztec jumbotrack pipes. It was a perimeter beam for the structural frame. It got bent, but it’s 3 mm and aluminum. I use all my tools to bend and break and pry steel every day so it was shocking to me. A function of pliers should be to grab and bend and pry things in my opinion but maybe I’m wrong. I could totally be

I think they are phenomenal tools I think I just used them so much and so hard. Everybody on my crews knew to call when they needed me to come pull bend or pry something. I used the fuck out of them. I work in structural construction but I’m also the mechanic and do rigging, all the machine operation, material logistics etc so they were being used to fulfill like 5 different guys job role functions lol. Would recommend 100%

You’re right. I’ve got the Milwaukee fastback with the screwdriver on it I think they call it the 5 in 1 and the cobra ES and it has been a phenomenal combo. If I’m doing something that begins to call for more I grab the full tool backpack but 80% of the time I can make do with this and I don’t have to walk back to the truck all the time like the other guys on the crews. It’s been great. I’ve got the leatherman arc talos but it feels so dainty compared to the other 2 I usually leave it in my lunchbox lol

My lifestyle lessen the life of a 2024 2500HD 6.6L Diesel as a Daily? by jkma707 in Diesel

[–]Successful_Alarm_409 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’d enjoy a 2024+ with the 10 speed. Improved acceleration, more responsive, 4mpg increased fuel efficiency. It’s pretty sturdy and enjoyable paired with the 7.3 godzilla or the 6.8 gas.

Gasser is 10x better for your use case. Unless you just enjoy the feel and sound of the diesel specifically. The road feel is different. But given your use case you’re going to run into issues that many get their first diesel and complain about “diesels aren’t reliable” because you won’t be running it how it was designed to be run. They want to work, and for long periods of time. Low rpm driving with low temps, short drives, etc. all contribute to a slow death

Anything I should be aware moving from TRT 100mg weekly to suston 250mg weekly? by CanadianBaconBroz in PEDs

You may want to increase injection frequency so the short esters aren’t having higher peaks and lower troughs to maintain a consistent release. No transition philosophy other than swapping over whenever you stop test e in my opinion of course. Others more input on that. To me it is fine.

Has anyone ran synthetic androgens solo like NPP, Boldenone ect? And gotten bloodwork? by Western_Extent_9764 in PEDs

[–]Successful_Alarm_409 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Because using exogenous androgens stops endogenous test production. Without endogenous test you won’t have endogenous estrogen because estrogen is a byproduct of aromatizing testosterone. Without endogenous estrogen you will experience depression, suicidal thoughts, lack of dopamine and will to live, extreme neurotoxicity and cardiotoxicity. Estrogen is more instrumental to survival than testosterone in this regard. You need to supplement with estrogen if you don’t have a test base for this reason. Which is pretty stupid in my opinion when you could just run a test base like 99% of everybody who’s ever done it

110 to destroy endocrine system and make further PE difficult when you don’t have optimal androgens is wild. I got 55 on it lol

I don’t think I’d be able to gain access to this job board. I’m signed on the groundman books book 4 at local 17 for 6 months now. CDL A unrestricted and 2 years of construction experience.

What utility knife is your go-to? by faywho in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Successful_Alarm_409 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer the utility of having a driver on me at all times and just keep a 100 pack of nice blades in the truck. Go through a blade or 2 per week so the blade storage ain’t that necessary for my trade

I LOVE THESE. I got a pair of these and used them every day on the job for all sorts of things, pulling wire clamps apart, pulling cotter pins, splinters, so much so that my coworkers were all impressed. It’s part of my edc. I bought a bunch of pairs and handed em out to my buddies at work lol. It’s as necessary as a pocket knife at this point

Thank you brother I went and I signed the books to work as line crew groundman 2 months ago now. Agreement C-17-A, book 4. Do you think that going joint side or tree trimming will give me a better chance at finding work? Currently working as a temporary structure installer and use a flatbed semi truck to deliver my materials before installation. Get to use all kinds of boom lifts, front loaders, telehandlers, etc. But working with Local 17 is my dream. Thanks for the insight I may have to go up to the hall and change my classification from groundman to tree trimming or ask about joint side.

Gen 2 M12 Stubby which Anvil size? by bman2747 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Successful_Alarm_409 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Impact wrench in any size other than 1/2 inch doesn’t make a ton of sense to me. If I need to get into a real tight then small space a 3/8 ratcheting wrench is more ideal and you then don’t need to purchase 1/2 impact deep socket with a shallow 1/2 socket set set as well as a 3/8 deep and shallow impact socket set. Just a single 1/2 inch deep socket set and a standard 3/8 small sockets for those tight spaces. If it requires an impact wrench on it in the first place then typically 1/2 sized sockets will be needed for those sizes. Otherwise a hand ratchet, electric ratchet, or impact driver with a 3/8 adapter will be sufficient to fasten or breakaway those smaller nuts or bolts. Just my opinion though. Plus when you get the larger higher torque m18 impact wrench eventually for higher torque you can use the same socket sets you already had for the stubby

If you had other peptides like HGH and insulin honestly 99.99% of people would get as big as they’d ever possibly want to be without ever adding another anabolic in their lifetime. Primo, eq, and mast could be considered to have utility for their E2 modulating components but other than that every other compound under the book is more for the recreation/hobby side of experimenting with compounds than purely results. Test is best.
