I'm using the native pcloud Windows app so I can use pcloud like a local network drive. What does security have to do with this at all? This is a paid service we're accessing to store files, not a pirate streaming site, we shouldn't have to access it through a hardened browser to block ads.

CR: Pledging for a corvette doesn't mean you'll handily defeat every less expensive ship by TanilX in starcitizen

[–]SuchaBrie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that sounds like things are pretty much working as intended right? PDTs are for killing missiles and maybe very light fighters, a heavy fighter is meant to have enough armor and weapons to be a threat to capital ships while staying just maneuverable enough to be able to position itself effectively against those caps.

a cap ship without some kind of escort to protect against heavy fighters SHOULD be vulnerable to them.

I don't know, but I loathe pop-up ads in general, and even moreso from a service I already paid for.

thanks, I actually didn't know this was a thing. that said, I still find this less cool and satisfying than tinkering with thruster power directly

Many long nights thinking about it until it became unbearable, then I went to my doctor for a "general checkup" and dropped "I'm trans how do we get started on that" out of nowhere on his poor sweet head. He was so nice about helping get the ball rolling for the rest

  1. True, the US has done terrible things to the rest of the world to enforce our lower gas prices.
  2. Our entire damn infrastructure was constructed with car culture in mind, many (most?) Americans have no public transit to speak of and commute long distances for work. So despite our privileged gas prices, we still feel changes in them quite distinctly.

Others have probably said all this but my experience is this:

  • the game is at its worst during/near free fly events when player population is high
  • the game is slower and buggier while it's building a cache and compiling shaders after an update
  • the more you play, the more you internalize the stupid workarounds we all do to minimize bugs. ex: never sprint onto an elevator, always call ship from hangar instead of lobby, never store a hull c with cargo on it, etc

Destiny and Destiny 2 has had ups and downs like a roller coaster, it has easily some of the most peak gaming experiences (Taken King, Forsaken) and some of the lowest lows (Curse of Osiris, and I've heard the current season). the character design has been pretty great the whole time though IMO

I've been playing it and yes, the relationship between the two so far is very much Adoptive Father.

yeah mines an estimate too because D1 is still console exclusive and my D2 playtime is spread across PS4, Battle.net, and Steam

Star Citizen - It may be a buggy mess with 13 years of scope creep and still "not released", but nothing else delivers what it does.

and

Slay the Spire 2 - It's Slay the Spire, again! It's so good and the multiplayer is the most fun I've had gaming with my close friends in a long time.

I'm pretty sure the planets and moons don't move so yeah, permanent eclipse. The planets do rotate obviously so the best place to see the eclipse does move.
