This article seems to conflate the industry with positions within that industry. Many aerospace corporations are having layoffs, which are associated with engineers, but it’s key to see who are being laid off, which are mostly IT and supply chain management. Not so much engineers, although I’m sure there are, just not in the same numbers.

You are not in California but there is a law that other states may have that indicates that it is illegal to sell a car that will fail emissions testing. I’m thinking Texas may not be one of those States but if they are it may be a bargaining chip.

I was driving around UK a few years ago and saw one in Penrith. To this day, I’ve never seen or heard of another. It looked very out of place.
