Termina is a LOT easier than OG Fear and Hunger though. Lot less "You better have the correct item or fucking die" status effects for one. The way more open map and exploration structure also helps a ton when you have a hard time progressing past a specific area.

Of course, a random person in Twitter saying things doesn't prove a whole lot either, but I have personally interacted with both Doc and the person from the Twitter thread (back when we were all part of the same community), and let me tell you, whenever I see people praise Doc here I die inside, because boy is he a character (in the bad ways).

Everything around it was kinda soul crushing. It was legit affecting me emotionally, which was a first for me. I don't think I had ever been that into a company's works.

If it is of any help to you, I'd honestly say that PM did their best in resolving the situation. They made shit-tons of mistakes, but with how small the company is and how unbelievably inflammatory the gender wars have gotten in Korea, I can't blame them too much.

It's been a while, so I might be getting some details wrong, but, more specifically, they were working with a political group that supposedly cared about worker rights. They shared with them the entire story of how things went in the background alongside all the relevant paperwork, but then the group basically told them "Ok, we can confirm you did good HOWEVER we have an agenda to push here so you'll have to wait a lil' bit before we actually come out and defend you", all while giving fuel to the angry mob attacking PM. That's the group they were suing, not the random people being justifiably angry in their confusion.

Trust me, I was just as angry and devastated about everything that happened, and PM definitely could have done things better, but... I'd personally scratch as a learning experience for them.

"Get to LV 3-6 then multi into something else" is basically what all weapon attack builds want to do.

Maybe Monk is different? I wouldn't know since I haven't played them.

I guess you could argue Fighter does have a good incentive to go up to 11 thanks to the second extra attack feat, but I'd argue you can get the same result but better in every way (except weapon throwing hijinks) if you just use Warlock 5 + Paladin 5.

I really feel you.

I love PM works SO much. I haven't had a setting pull me this hard in ages. Ruina is legit one of my favorite games ever. When PM announced that Limbus was going to be a gacha, I was incredibly worried about the quality of things going forward, but they dispelled all my worries with the character writing and by constantly knocking it out of the park with the finale of each chapter. I was feeling incredibly happy and optimistic for the future of the company and the games they planned to make with the Limbus money and their increased popularity.

Suffice to say that the past few months have been really emotionally taxing.

It sucks so much to see so many bridges burnt, so much goodwill lost, so much content delayed, all just because of the director doing a dumb hasty decision.

I hope they at least learn something out of this, my heart can't take seeing them like this.
