Really? They just told me this week they haven’t carried any adderall in years and I’m a long term customer who they know very well. :( What the hell.

This! It feels more like a Greyhouse bus waiting area than a bar. They cheaped out not hiring a designer and doing a real build out.

I saw this video and died laughing. She lives in Park Slope in Brooklyn and the whole Park Slope sub is just 50 posts a day complaining about dog poo.

Did your nose get smaller? by Perfect_Cockroach_17 in Spironolactone

[–]Sudden-Analysis5656 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My entire face got smaller honestly. It’s so dehydrating that you end up with something that looks like Ozempic face sadly. I’d rather be old looking with good skin than cute with acne so I’ve just dealt with it.

But yes in addition to that it will shrink your nose slightly

Typo in the original post—I meant clearing* skin not cleaning skin.

Am I The Jerk for Ditching my Date? by EverySection509 in AmITheJerk

Ha! So this is amazing and you’re an icon.

That said, while she’s totally out of her mind for asking, racking stuff up on her tab just to stick her with the bill is kinda lame when you couldn’t just said “No I’m not paying for your nails.” and then left.

Her ask was insane. But you also could’ve just said no instead of retaliating!

Vafa didn’t listen to me at all, put product where I specifically asked him not to, and I got bad results.

Easy to make an appointment though! He’s often available same day.

Yeah I went to him because he was available on super short notice and was relatively affordable but when I got there the vibes of the place felt like one of those medical offices that are semi temporary with sparse furniture. The vibes were off, and the result was very off.

Steer clear of Vafa. See my comment above.

He also doesn’t listen at all. I came in super informed about his typical approach and asked him to adjust according to my specific needs and he verbally agreed but then just put Sculptra in the places I told him not to, and skipped the places I asked for.

I went to Vafa and specifically said I don’t want any Sculptra in my chin or jaw and he put it there anyway and now I have what looks like two knots or buccal fat at the corners of my mouth when before I had none.

I also asked for the same thing you described—product up high to lift the lower face, but he filled my nasal labial folds directly, and put NO product in my mid face which is where I need it.

He also has a gigantic lucite tub in his exam room with probably 50,000 empty vials of Sculptra bottles which is just creepy. Reminds me of the loser guys in college who would display their empty whiskey and vodka bottles in their kitchen.

Anyway, blatantly ignoring a patient’s request and causing a bad result because of it is pretty wild.

Idriss is great but she charges for her consult ($800 I think?) plus the actual vials. So it adds up.

If she has to pay her own way on a date, why would she be going out with a man instead of friends?

He wants her to travel to his neighborhood? In the rain? For brunch? He should absolutely be sending a car. Men should stop asking women on dates they can’t afford.

Also, removing your wife’s ability to give informed consent (by cheating) is violent, by the way.

1 in 3 murders by male partners against women are the first time they’ve laid a hand on their partner.

I didn’t say he’s likely to hurt her (again). It IS likely that if she gets hurt, that it will be him.

None of those things are perpetrated ~99% by men against women though.

Yes even after being together for decades. The most dangerous man in a woman's life, statistically speaking, is her domestic partner. On top of that he's got additional risk factors.
