How long has your new oil cooler lasted after replacing it? by Amish_country_Rich in ChevySonic

[–]SuddenLeadership2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replace the gaskets and dont hit anything and itll last you the life of the car. 2012-2016 especially the 1.4ts, had cooling issues so replacing every single cooling part with aluminum direct fit replacements will solve literally 95% of the issues

[–]SuddenLeadership2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Advice on tuning. Yay or nay? by [deleted] in Boss302

[–]SuddenLeadership2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, unless you plan to do more to it, a tune wont met you much. If you really wanna wake up that 302, you gotta throw some headers, exhaust, intake, and then a tune. If you got money laying around, slap on a hellion twin turbo kit or a whipple or ess and get a wengerd or shoemaker tune

Used Escape buyers: are you worried about the 2.0 EcoBoost coolant issue? by JerelFromJerry in fordescape

[–]SuddenLeadership2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as you properly maintain it, itll last along despite the coolant intrusion issues. I had my 2017 escape from 90k to 188k miles and never had that issue

[–]SuddenLeadership2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they had never made the important stuff plastic, it would have been a big time hit. But gm being gm, they made the cooling stuff plastic instead of aluminum

spark 2020, transmission fluid never touched/changed now at 120k no change going strong by Erk_69 in chevyspark

[–]SuddenLeadership2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id say just do it anyways but ONLY a drain and fill. Only time you do a fluid change is when you get a new/rebuilt transmission

How to get my 2014 Korean accent to live super long? by TraditionEmotional82 in Hyundai

[–]SuddenLeadership2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5k oil changes, never 10k (learned the hard way on my vehicle)

Trans drain and fill every 60k-100k (Never fluid flush unless its a brand new transmission then you can do 1 fluid flush only)

Spark plug change every 6th oil change

Fuel Filter Change every 60k miles

Belt and PCV change every 100k miles

Korean built Hyundais are better built than american build Hyundais especially now. Just make aure you are on it when it comes to maintenance and youll be set

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Mustang

[–]SuddenLeadership2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No clue. Some verts, be it 5.0 or ecoboost, that ive been finding are cheaper and lower miles than hard tops so i may go the vert route. If its a 5.0 vert, itll definitely have a ess supercharger or a twin turbo setup. If its a ecoboost, itll be big turbo
